We had to remove it. Per BXXXXXX’s the 1-2 in. thin veneer stone we used. BXXXXXX’s would not recommend this for our project. 4X4 Fond Du
Lac was ideal. Magnolia had access to the 4X4 Fond Du Lac white stone but did not recommend it to us. We would have purchased the stone from
them. In 2021 we had 6 stones that were loose and many dead shrubs and plants. Magnolia did not respond. I contacted (GXXXXX’s—their
supplier). They said they would not be able to use them on their reference list if their are not taking care of warranty work for their
clients. XXXX from the local hardscape co. Agreed with BXXXXXX’s Lakeville that he would recommend 4X4 only. Not enough limestone base
was and many stones were inlaid too deep in many areas. 13 stones loose2022 and mulch falls all over lawn. If only we knew it would last less
than 2 years.
Back in 2020. 1. Received call at my dentist office from one of the 3 (all appeared to be teenagers). Asking me where I wanted the shrubs
& flowers planted. No oversight from Katie or a project mgr. No design showing scale to size to follow. Ramiro planted our arborvitae
not centered. I asked to move. He got Katie on the phone and she said No! Move on. I told Ramiro to tell her remainder of money will be with
held. Katie said my Dwarf Pink Lilac will look more purple in the spring. It was a purple lilac she gave us. Hydrangea was not planted
deep enough. Roots exposed and died. Oct 6 2022-Tom H and he said it was due to stabilization, Also due thickness of stone and should not
have been cut. He failed to call me as promised later. Per hardscape contractor it is not due to stone being cut but; 4X4 stone should have
been recommended and work was not done correctly. Requesting $500 in reimbursements for reinstalling the stonework and $150 for us having to
remove a root on our island.
