On 02/26/2022, I reserved three rooms for the night. I received contact that the front desk clerk would like to speak with me. He stated that there were complaints of "pot" smells in the hallway and in the room. When i went to the room 118, there was no smell in the hallway nor the room. I went back to the front desk clerk and asked him to come down to the room. He refused. I asked him if he knocked on the door and went into the room to confirm the smell was coming directly from room 118, he stated he did not. No police was called, we were not asked to leave the hotel which would usually be the situation in any hotel involving this issue. I was told the night manager would be speaking with me which never happened. On 02/27/2022 after check out, I noticed an additional $300 was charged to my account. When i called the hotel to find out what was going on, i was told after i left, they had their housekeeper go through the trash in room 118 where "evidence" was found and supposedly a "very faint smell of pot". The manager ***** said the housekeeper has a nose like a hound dog so she knows what pot smells like. I asked why wasn't anything investigated when i asked it to be or why didn't we get kicked out of the hotel when this happened if there was suspicion of marijuana. She could not give me a reason. I'm requesting a full refund for all three rooms (Room 116- $115.00, Room 118- $115.00 and Room 310- $144.62) and the additional $300 fee that was charge to my account for these false accusations. I also am asking for additional funds for my pain and suffering, If I do not receive them, I will file a discrimination suit.
