On 4/1/2024 I Noted that on my credit card, I was being charged $20.32 from Urban Air, a charge that I did not recognize. After investigating, I realized I had been charged that amount on the 14th of every month for more than a year! After trying for two days, I got ****** on the phone by repeatedly calling the Urban Air Corporate Phone number at ************. She told me I was being charged because my daughter ****** had been a member since March 2023. I told her ****** was 14, cannot legally sign a contract, and also cannot sign any authorization for my credit card. She is NOT an authorized user. Neither my daughter nor myself were aware that any membership had been agreed to, and obviously we dont frequent this business. We dont live nearby. I am the ONLY authorized signatory of that credit card, and I have not been to that business, ever.****** placed me on hold for a while, then came back and told me that *********************** had signed a membership form for ******, and presented my card. *********************** is ******* mom, and after speaking with ******* she told me she brought ****** there, and was asked to sign a waiver for ****** to bounce on the trampolines. It then became clear what this is. The employees trick people into signing a long, multiple page contract while they have a bunch of kids running around and are far too distracted to read the type of document they are agreeing to. It is an electronic signature, so it comes to their cel phone or another small screen, and the prompt goes directly to the Sign Here tab, while the employee is telling the unsuspecting mother to just click the tab so the kids can play.I asked ****** if the employees there are incentivized to sign up memberships, because I suspect that ******* had been duped into signing a membership form under the ruse that it was a waiver. ****** would not comment on whether employees are rewarded for signing up memberships.I asked ****** for relief, telling her that no authorized user of my credit card was there for this transaction, and thus it is not a legal contract. I asked for both cancellation of the fraudulently obtained membership, and refund of my money. After conferring with her manager, ****** told me that I was under contract, and the contract cannot be cancelled. I asked how long the contract lasts, and she would not say until I pressed HARD, then finally said it is for 12 payments. I then told her I have been billed 13 payments already. She seemed confused by that, placed me on hold again. Then she came back and told me this contract is just one month old, and needs to be paid 11 more times before any cancellation can be considered. But of course, that cannot be true, because she had already told me the contract was signed in March, 2023.I advised her that I am very familiar with contract law, and that no party who has signed that contract has been authorized to do so by me, and as such, it must be cancelled to avoid legal action and/complaints. Then I was placed on hold again while she spoke with her manager again. Next she came back and told me I would be emailed the contract, and that it can in fact be cancelled. The story just continued changing each time I expressed any knowledge of contractual law. Anyone less educated in contract law would have been helpless. She also advised me that the reason I was being allowed to cancel is that she now understands that *********************** is not an authorized User on my credit card, however, the company would not be refunding me any money. That makes no sense. I have now read reports from other consumers who were duped in a similar fashion by this business. Its obvious that nobody knows they are being signed up for an annual membership when they dont return to utilize it or cancel either. This business needs to stop the practice of turning young employees into little scammers preying on people distracted by dozens of playing children. The result I want from this complaint is as follows:1. I want to know what incentivize the employees are given to sign people up for memberships. Whether the business does the right thing and stops that practice is up to them; I just want to know how much some teenager received for scamming me out of $300.00 2. I want a refund of 100% of all monies paid on this fraudulently obtained membership. That is 13 payments ***************) of $20.32 = $264.13 *******************************

I would NEVER do their monthly membership!!! If you create an account for someone in your family and then add another family member a couple months later they restart all contracts already created and then your ************************************************** your household no matter when they signed up. Not only that but after youve paid your due on their botched contract and request to cancel they wont respond! And whats further, when you dispute it with your credit card theyll deny it and tell you that you cannot cancel by phone, email, mail, or fax. When I questioned things about my membership in person before they told me they have nothing to do with it and you have to email them. How the dell are you supposed to cancel if theres no way to cancel when your contract is up?! There is no further explanation of how to cancel other than this section. Its a scam and youre stuck once youre signed up! DONT DO IT unless you plan on being signed up for life!
