      Regarding the complaint from ********************.

******************** purchased a 1991 ************** 540E log skidder from our company in February of 2024.

The machine was inspected by one of our salespeople and found to be in very good shape structurally for a 31 year old machine.

******************** chose not to do a physical inspection on his part even though he was given the option.

Upon arrival of the machine, ******************** contacted our company to complain the machine had a 4 cylinder instead of a 6 cylinder and that the transmission was bad.

Forestry Equipment Sales hired 2 independent technicians to inspect the machine. The first tech agreed the machine was in good shape but the transmission was making some noise, upon further investigation it was discovered that the transmission was 2.5 gallons low on fluid. After filling the transmission the transmission quieted down.

******************** continued to complain the transmission was bad so we hired a second technician, a transmission specialist, to inspect the machine. The second technician determined the transmission was in typical working order and there was nothing wrong. The clunking that ******************** was hearing was actually the cab mounts being worn and had nothing to do with the transmission or the operation of the transmission.

We made several attempts to come to a compromise with ******************** but the demands on his part kept changing. ******************** was very difficult to deal with at times and would continually talk over myself and our staff.

We were finally able to reach an amicable solution with ******************** after many attempts and hope that we continue to earn his business in the future.

I am rejecting this response because:

I didn't refuse to go see it ,I told them it was to far for me to see it he recommended he could go and check it out for me and I made it clear that it had to be a 6 cylinder engine as it was advertised and he had a **** Deere check it out before but he would for me and he knew hat he was doing and he did and assured me it was a six cylinder engine and I told him to make sure the transmission ,engine, tires, and it was tight all around and the hydraulic work good and the *** didn't wobble .he went and did a Video of the machine working and said it was a cream puff but never check the hydraulic or engine so I though it was what he advertise .then when I go it it was 2.5 gallon short on hydraulic fluid in the transmission and it made growling noise and it jump shifting and it had a 4 cylinder engine  and for the two guy he sent the first one fill it up put said he still wasn't sure about 4 gear .then the next day I took it out and notice the 4 gear was jumping then he sent the second guy out and he found it was the cab mounts were bad and it started hard and needed new battery and new starter and cab mounts and I talk to them about it and they over talk me and said they would give me new battery, starter and cab mounts but as far as the engine for get it not going to do nothing , when I first talk he said he wast mad about the different in the size of the engine from 6  cylinder to 4 cylinder as they advertise
