On February 23, 2024, I purchased heath ********* for my family with Health Depot Association after loosing my job and also the benefits that i a had. When talking to the sales representative they stated that the regular doctor visits and specialist doctor had a flat fee that I need to pay. They sent me an email that I had to sign during the call and the fees were not listed as I recall. They also advise not to use the plan in March as the ********* should fully kick in April. When contacting the customer service on March 28, 2024, with additional questions about the plan that i have purchased for $444, they advised that that specialist doctor visits are not covered. I requested cancelation and full refund as the plan will not benefit us and the sales person provided inaccurate information. When calling to get an update on the refund request on April 2, 2024, I was advised that the request was declined. They stated that I have eSignal during the initial call in February 2024. The plan was not accurately presented and was misleading and this is a total scam. The representative refused to transfer me to a manager and provide any assistance. All I got is they apologies and the case was resubmitted and I was advised that I will receive the same resolution for the new case. I request the full refund as Health Depot uses a third party company that has unethical sales practices that provide misleading information to get customers fulled into their terrible health ********* plans that doesn't cover medical expenses that were initially promised.

Prior to losing my employee provided health coverage due to moving to a different state, I reached out to COBRA to secure an insurance plan, on June 28, 2021. On July 15, 2021 I agreed to a plan that was supposed to be ***************** Blue Shield to take effect on 12am on July 24, 2021 that would cover me for "any dr, any urgent care, any hospital with the exception of military facilities or ****** *************************** included a $99 enrollment fee and a monthly premium of $383. On August 10, ***************************************************************************************************** a diagnosis of carpal tunnel. I paid $250 that day to be seen as a copay. Since, they have refused to pay the x-ray charges ($25.92) saying it was not covered by my insurance plan. I have been fighting with Health Depot and Fidelity since August to cover the main portion of my ER ****, totaling $694. TeamHealth (who covers bills for ER) says they repeatedly send the **** to insurance electronically and physically with no response. Since December I have been told by insurance they "just received the ****" and are working on processing it now. They also refused to cover a birth control prescription (I paid almost $200 for despite telling me prescriptions are covered). CVS ************* told me they did not accept Health Depot insurance, despite being assured by Health Depot minutes before my appointment they did cover ************* Visits (November 8, 2021) and would not cover the cost of an antibiotic prescribed. No dr I tried to see in my area had ever even heard of the insurance and refused to take me on as a patient. I just want a reasonable response and for them to provide the coverage I was promised when I signed up (due to the issues I ended coverage December 2021). I should not have been paying ~$400 a month for insurance that did not cover anything!
