This business initiated an offer and contract knowingly based of false premises. My daughter was offered a spot on a high performance travel soccer team but once the season began it was evident that the team was not a high performance team and that the families had been dupped by the organization. I have tried multiple times through meetings, calls and emails to settle with Salvo. They said they would contact me and it has been 3 weeks of nothing. The contract we signed was misleading and while the team was supposed to be playing at a High Performance level many players on the team had never played soccer before, or ever traveled before and half the team was a year younger than the level they were playing at. Salvo knew from the beginning that this team was not High Performance but they had no issue accepting the $4,000 in fees to play. The team was signed up to play two college showcases to placate their coach who was recruiting players for ************* as a college coach and the team had no business going to these tournaments which cost another $5,000. My player was injured in February and unable to play for 4+ weeks. Many of her teammates were injured and the club could not even field a team. Salvo knew in April before traveling to ************ that the team was put into the wrong bracket. They didnt tell anyone until the day before we left to travel there. Some parents didnt even know until they got there. We spent another $2,000 on treating our players injury. Salvo knows about all of this, they have done nothing for our family to make it right. They made offers to see what they could do to salvage the rest of the season. For the $11,000 we have paid it is not right to continue to settle. Despite their one sided rules we should be entitled to our fees back due to the contract being made under false premises.Business response

Our daughter has played for Salvo for several years. This year has not been a good experience for her thus we have asked the club to release her so she can play for a different club (lower level). To date, the only remedy provided by Salvo is ‘you can play for another Salvo team’ which is unacceptable based on our recent experience. The reasons for our complaint: (1) The team she is playing on has not been a success as documented by their own self-admission (a recent survey). (2) On two separate occasions, we have asked the coach and director to have our daughter play a ‘hybrid’ schedule yet she continues to be listed ONLY on the lower of the two teams preventing her from getting certain game opportunities. (3) The director communicated to me directly that the LEAGUE requires that players play on the same team for the entire year and that the LEAGUE rules require that a receiving coach (the team we want to play for) should reach out (an intent of the rules) to the existing club regarding a release. These statements are inaccurate (part of our loss of trust). League rules allow for a release if both sending/receiving clubs agree. And, the receiving club is not obligated to contact the sending club. (4) Salvo’s director claimed that we signed a form, during registration, that obligated us to the club for the year. Upon review, the registration form states: “This waiver has no agreement on record.”. Either it doesn’t exist or they have not made it available to us. Another example of our loss of trust with Salvo. Salvo’s director seems to disregard the idea that they, as an organization, have an obligation to provide a quality product or service to their members/customers. I have made it clear that they are not meeting that expectation. I am not asking for any money back (we have paid in full). All we are asking for is a release so our 12-year old daughter can play soccer for a club that we trust. Thank you.Initial Complaint

Paid for 2 kids for an entire year. They played majority of the winter season and then we had to move. Reached out salvo and they refused to refund for any of the spring or summer season. For 2 kids I. Traveling soccer this was quite coostly. Be sure you are going to play entire season because they will not refund you a dime even though their website says 100 percent refund before season starts.
