October 27, 2022 I had power outage in my condo unit. I was the only resident for this issue. Since I live in a condo, I called our management company for the property about the power outage and they were the one to reach out to an electrician. October 28, 2022 Gunnar Electric came out to my condo and as it turned out, half of the dual phase circuit breaker had died (original circuit breaker approximately 50 years old). The circuit breaker was replaced.March 13, 2023 the other half of the dual phase circuit breaker went out. At this time I am questioning what is happening to why I am losing half of the dual phase of power from the main circuit breaker. ******* of my concern that there is more of a problem, I called ********************* to let them know of the situation and they called a different company to come out for this situation. The contractor that came out in March asked who the company was in October that performed the work. He said that if it was his company, he would have gone back to the shop and asked who the person was. He also told me that I would not have been charged for the March visit due to the poor workmanship performed by Gunnar Electric. My March invoice states that the reason of the March visit describes the poor workmanship.I spoke to ***** of Gunnar Electric on April 10, 2023 and told him the situation. I gave him the two options to resolve the resoltution as listed below.

      Business response

      04/14/2023

Yes.  We were hired to replace the main breaker in *****'s panel in October of 2022.  We received a call from the management company around March 14th that there was an issue with this breaker, and told them that we would be happy to send someone out to troubleshoot this breaker and replace if faulty.  We never heard anything back until ***** called ***** on April 10th accusing our electrician of poor workmanship.  We had told the management company and ***** that we would be happy to warranty our work and the materials.  He got agitated and extremely rude accusing our company of all kinds of inaccurate lies.

      The facts are:

1-yes, we replaced his breaker, and provide a 1 year warranty of labor and materials.  We told him and his management company that we would gladly honor that warranty.

2-he never gave us the opportunity to fix this issue.

3-We will not pay another company for our warranty work.

4-We performed the original work and will not reimburse him for work and materials were installed.

I am rejecting this response because:
      1) The information Gunnar gave to the management company of this property at that time was never pass on to me.  ****************** of this property changed on April 1, 2023 when they left, they took with them all information.  This includes being said of any information in October 2022 and March 2023 of 1 year warranty from Gunnar.

2)Former management company went with **** on this matter this time.

      3) *********** that was onsite for the problem in March asked if it was there company that performed the work in October because he can see the problem and tell that the loose connection more than likely workmanship issue.  He mentioned that if it was his company, he would not charge me and would have gone back to the shop to find out who performed the work.  The invoice for the work in March states that there is a loose connection.   Every electrician I spoke to of what happened in March is telling me that it sounds like a workmanship issue.

      3) ***** mentions I got agitated and rude.  I was not agitated nor rude.  I was telling the facts to ***** and he did not want to deal with the problem any further.  I did not tell ***** any lies.  My telling him of previous experience of Gunnar and the result of them on the project was not a lie.  Just because ***** either did not know of the issue or forgot does not make it a lie.
