Signed contact for 2 units March 7 at the rate of $84. On June 7 I recieced a message stating rate was going from $131 to $146. When we moved in we were given the incorrect unit number and not able to utilize the units we needed.Received an email on Mar 14 we are paid in full through June.We elected to move out of the unit and now are being charged $90 for an employee error that we never received notice or explanation why our rate went from $85 to $131 **************** she advised the owner is no longer taking ownership of employee mistakes and if I don't pay this balance they will report it to collections.I do not feel fully responsible for this error and agreed to pay half they will not take this amount only the full amount. I asked for the owner to call me with no response.*********************** ************

****************** was made aware by the manager who made a mistake, that a mistake had been made in her rental rate during her move in process. The mistake was explained by both site management and senior management, and ****************** seemed to understand. Ultimately, we came to an agreement with ******************, for a further discounted amount (which was paid today), to settle the account.

I am rejecting this response because:

I had to follow up on this several times and fell it was not my error to pay this amount.  I finally settled on the discounted to be done this this organization and lack of attention to detail.  If an employee makes a mistake I should have been notified prior to receiving an invoice for a balance after I decided to move out and moat importantly an apology from ******* the manager.  He seemed more concern about profit vs training his employees.  Also when an another employee says that he is no longer accepting mistake or taking a hot from the employee, how is that the consumers issues

I deal with customer service in my career and would never experience the consumer responsible, I would explain the situation, update tje contract and move forward with tje revised amount and not expect them to pay the difference of what was paid and contracted.  I would fully expect once the situation is explained it would have been the higher amount going forward monthly.

Rented a storage unit for 6 months beginning Nov1 2021-April 30 2022. Paid the fee's in full at that time and notified them at that time that I would be vacating the unit in April. They are now saying I owe for *** because I didn't provide written notice 2 weeks prior of the contract end date. I am of the opinion that a verbal agreement and the fact that I paid in full at the time of rental and told them then that I would vacate prior to April 30 should of been plenty of notice.

Per your signed lease agreement and multiple signs at the property - a written vacate notice is required.

The manager will contact you for payment of 1/2 of the rent due, without the late fees.

I have rented from this facility for 5 years , over the years they have not only not repaired anything when it is clearly their property for example. Water comes from the wall from the unit next-door, it turns the wall brown with rust stains and the tiles on the floor all come off in that area due to water from the drain tray on the air unit in the next room. For months we ask them to fix this as it is risking our equipment and such in our unit and they ignored us yet still demanded the rent and just would tack on late charges if you said I am not paying till you fix, then they would just lock you out and force you to pay them either way. I have had to repair about everything or resolve our selves since we have been there. They turned on an alarm after nearly five years and we could not record in there and have tons of messages, email & text asking them to fix and they would not, so on July 26th I paid Aug and Sep rent and verbally told them it was my last rent since we could not use.

We addressed the water issue when we were made aware of it. The alarm began to be an issue because of the activity in Mr. ******* space, and when it was determined that the vibration from the adjoining space, rented by Mr. ******, was triggering the motion detector in our office, we had it disabled by the alarm company, and it hasn’t been an issue for months. The written policy, in the lease Mr. ****** signed, states that vacate notices must be submitted in writing at least 14 days in advance.
