From what I am hearing this is the typical experience right now with many contractors - way too busy and poor management. Mine had too many small issues and a few medium; many no shows on scheduled days; so a lackluster rating. He's a one man operation w/helpers; project planning, scheduling, advance prep, and communication (+written costs) is sorely lacking. Completed work is good; should hold up well. My job >$8K was quoted to be completed in about a week; started 9/15/21, finished 11/5/21, sidelined when he received other projects. He had a death in the family w/no show, zero communication - for 16 days. I was searching for another company to complete the project. Allegedly two neighbors had similar experience. Otherwise nice person, good work.Customer Response

Some of the work has failed. The waterproofing to the interior and exterior of garage foundation is peeling after just one season. This was a service which I had not requested and discovered after already started. He stated that it would last a long time. The old caulking was removed and new was added to the exterior and has failed; the foundation leaks far worse than before. he also said that this would remedy the leaking. On this part of the work - I am left worse off. I hope that steps that were installed last - as he backfilled with concrete blocks - now I realize he ordered too little concrete to be delivered. Add that to the many other issues, I am downgrading my review. He does know a lot about concrete and they are nice. Unfortunately I cannot recommend.
