5-13-22 We requested tiptopto fix a chimney leak. They did nothing to repair the leak. We had it repaired by others. We gave Tip-Top a $1,000 deposit and they delivered material to our property without our authorization.After our request Tip-Top visited our property and suggested 2 remedies. We asked for quotes for each remedy. We never received quotes. Tip-Top claims they sent them but will not provide a copy.6-3-22 Tip-Top delivered materials to our property (cap, block, flue) before we instructed them to proceed.6-9-22 we instructed Tip-Top to wrap the chimney (1 of their proposed solutions).6-10-22 Tip-Top told my wife materials needed to be paid upfront. Tip Top requested and we gave them a $1,000 deposit. (They did not require a deposit for the materials they previously deliveres.) Tip-Top promptly cashed the check.6-21-22 Tip-Top sent us a letter stating the chimney wrap was not a good option because it would create what they now characterize as an unsafe condition.If it was unsafe, it should not have been proposed as a remedy. If it was unsafe they should not have collected a deposit toward what tiptop now describes as unsafe. They urged us to do a complete demo and rebuild.6-21-22 we asked tiptop to return our $1,000 and pick up their material they had delivered without our authorization.6-29-22 tiptop stated to us in an email "You may want to keep the chimney parts. To pick up block,cap, and flue would cost approx. $250 + a fuel charge.7-12-22 tip top stated in an email "Al, we estimate with a return and pick up of materials your bill will be $500.7-22-22 tip top stated their costs on our project exceeded $1,000 have sent us an invoice dated 7-29-22. Tiptop has delivered no goods or services of value.We attempted without success to resolve this through the office of the Attorney General. (*******************************-KLM/2022/5374458/c).We want our $1,000 back and have tip to remove their materials.See 9 attachments.Business response

TipTop continues to be unreasonable. I will pursue collection with the help of an attorney. Thank you for your attempts to help us.*********************
