My husband and I are members of the Twinhomes of Rum River ****************************** email: *********************************** We have been having a ongoing issue with the Association and Well Groomed Lawns. The sprinkling system that waters our lawn: side, front and boulevard has not been operating since the system was turned on around May 23, 2023. There have been numerous texts and emails back & forth trying to resolve this problem. In a email I received from the association 7/9 I was told that ****, the owner of Well Groomed Lawns, thinks our system is up and running. This was very upsetting to me, so basically he thinks I am lying. The email also stated that they would be out to check our system again, no time frame was given and I have yet to see them this week. I was told by **** that our zone comes on sometime between 2 or 3 am every day. They have NEVER done so. On 7/9 -7/10 I walked our yard every hour from 9:30 pm to 2:30 am. No sprinklers came on. On 7/6 I was up from 2 am until we left at 6 am and no sprinklers came on for our side, front or boulevard. We do have 3 sprinklers working in our backyard since 7/3. They come on at 6 am. Logically you would think the next zone, our side, front and boulevard would come on next. That does not happen. They skip our zone entirely and jump across and down the street to Vintage & come on at 7am. When the maintenance guys come out, which they have done numerous times, they manually turn the sprinklers on and they work just fine, but that is where it ends. There is evidentially something wrong with the timer/control in the well house or another access in our back yard that causes it to skip our zone, which I have been told is the last in the system. I have sent numerous pictures to the association documenting the condition of our lawn the last on 7/12. We are 52 days past the 5/23 start up date of the watering season. that should have been enough time to address this problem

Well Groomed Lawns just took over the irrigation duties for Twinhomes of ********************* this spring. With the excessive heat and drought conditions it has been very difficult for our irrigation technicians to keep up with the irrigation problems throughout the spring/summer.

The issue does lie within the irrigation controller. We have give the association a price for an upgraded clock that uses Wi-Fi, which will allow us to run the irrigation system remotely. We are waiting to hear from the board to see if they want to proceed with the new clocks or simply replace the clock with the same style of controller. The other issue is the irrigation clock is located off the association property at; *********************** The clock is located in the back yard and we need permission from the property owner to access the irrigation controller. This issue would also be resolved with Hydrawise (wi-fi capable controller).

We had our irrigation ************* 8/11 but they were not able to access the irrigation clock due to the homeowner at ***** not being home to let us in to the back yard to access the irrigation clock.

       Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.  Well Groomed Lawns did finally get our system up and running.  Most of the lawn is coming back and turning green, there are still some spots that are pretty dead that the sprinklers arent hitting.  I agree remote access to the controller would be very helpful.
