      *** braking system was not working on our truck. We took it to Valley GMC to have it repaired. They told us that the **** and *** motor assembly was bad and needed to be replaced. They told us that they could not locate a new part and had to purchase a used part to fix it. They told us that since it was a used part there would only be a 90 day warranty. They completed the repair on 3/14/24 and we picked it up and paid them $1502.59. On 3/25/24 the warning light came back on and indicated the *** brake system was not working. We took it back in on the evening of 3/25, but they did not look at it until late morning of 3/26. They called us and told us that the part they replaced was bad and that they would have to order a new part again and replace. They said it would take close to a week to get the part in. We asked them to have the part overnighted and they said no. They said that the place they get it form did not have it and they had to get one in and then send it to GMC, so it was not possible to get it right away. Then the very next day they called and said they miraculously got the part and it was fixed and ready to go. We weren't able to get there to pick it up until Saturday the 30th. When we picked it up the warning light was still on and it was showing the vehicle was not fixed. We went back inside and told them and they said there was nothing more they were willing to do and we could call the manager and talk with him. We spoke with ****, manager of the service department, on 4/2. **** was rude and difficult, refused to listen to what we had to say and wouldn't fix the truck. They offered to send us $500 back. We don't feel this is acceptable and to date we have not received the $500. We did file a dispute of the charges with our ************ and that is still pending. ***** **** said that could potentially take months to resolve.
