      I purchased a used car from them. When I signed and drive home , the automatic start wouldnt work so I went to get it serviced. They informed me that it was not fixable (knowing they charged me for it in purchase price)so I had to get a new auto start put it and pay to take that one out. So 1000$ later I went home and it wouldnt work. Giving me the error that my trunk was open. Come to figure out the trunk doesnt latch or lock. Besides there was a gas smell every time I started it. I called them and they informed me there was a part changed to do w the gas and the smell should disapate. The smell remained the same, so I stopped driving it unless I had to get myself to work. 3 weeks later the smell was worse. Called service and they said I would have to bring it in for service. I live 2 hours away and asked if I should be driving it at all, they could not answer me. A week later went to my scheduled appt and they said it needed a fuel sensor and a new trunk lock. So I was told I could not drive it. They had to order a part. Gave me a loner. A week later I go pick up my car., they said the trunk had to be shut hard because they think the car was in an accident. Which no one had said a thing to me. But they said it was fixed and I go home. Ok all fixed. Auto start works , the next day same ********, trunk error and would not start. Called them and asked for my $ back to go get my trunk fixed somewhere else.they wanted me to drive 2 hours there so they could look at it. No way. So if I take it somewhere else to be fixed Im supposed to send them the invoice and they will see if they can reimburse me. So another 400$ . Now I have a short in the dash lights which causes them to to dim out when driving at night. I cannot utilize my auto start. I have no way to lock my vehicle Do NOT go here for a used vehicle I WISH I wouldve never felt w VW of Duluth THIEVES

In addition, due to the distance you would have to travel back to see us, you can take the vehicle to a local shop and we will cover the diagnostic fee for your current issue.       a car was brought into their service department for a recall, the car has been there for two months and now they are saying i need a new motor. There is a $4000 bill there so far. this is by far the worst dealership i have delt with. still got no car and a $4000 bill. the qoeted $13000 for a new motor. still no car!

      BUYER BEWARE! I walked away because the trade-in amount was a low-ball offer. I was there for 20 minutes. They knew I would not buy from them. They submitted my information to multiple credit agencies for a loan. It's been two months and I am still getting credit report denials! I think over 6 reports are nasty, and they keep coming!

      Recently bought a car from Volkswagen of Duluth. I went in and signed all the paperwork at an agreed upon rate. About a week later, they had asked me to come in to sign paperwork because there was a small box missed the first time around. Another week or so goes by, and once again I have to go back in and re-sign all the paperwork. As they kept telling me nothing was changing, same loan, same price, same rate. I thought nothing of it. I got something in the mail from a different loan company than agreed upon. Signed in, and realized that my payment was more money a month and so was the interest rate. Without saying anything, they switched it on me and now I'm stuck in a contract that I signed without asking questions. Never going back to them for anything. Shady business.

      Beware. Mandatory multi-point inspection was never done. Service manager insisted that it was, even though I received no paperwork, etc. They only got caught because I know about cars and I have cameras in the car. I watched them not perform the checks. I called the general manager, who spoke to the supervisor of the service manager. I received a call back with an apology an offer to do the inspection now. The dealership is 2 hours from my house (both ways) and I told them that I do not trust them anyway. Could be a lazy mechanic, sounds like a service manager who takes sides with his staff without proof, should probably be a heads-up for anyone who does not know the basics of cars. I also wonder whether they have a habit of deception when dealing with women. The main VW folks told me that the work would be under warranty, but I got charged for a diagnostic that told me the exact same thing that I said was wrong. Will be going to my local mechanic for any service needed. Will only return if another recall is issued for a problem.
