We love the watch, my wife has memory issues and had started to wonder away from home at all hours of the day and night, she would be lost and could not find her way back home even if she was only fifty feet up the street. I desperately needed something that would tell me where she was at all times and allow me to call and talk to her and to calm her down and tell her to not be scared and to stay right where she was so I could go and pick her up and bring her back home. I have now secured the home so she can not leave when I am sleeping or working. I love the fact that I can call her watch and talk to her to calm her down so she won't be scared and I can assure her that she is safe at home. She spends 3 hours at home alone before the care giver comes to be with her , so it is great that I can stay in touch with her before they arrive. I have purchased extra keys to the watch so that the caregivers can remove the watch and take her for a walk in the neighborhood and take her out of the safe zone that I set on the watch. This Tranquil wrist watch is worth every ***** that it cost because it is the very best thing that you can do for your loved ones that have Alzheimer's to keep them safe

We love the watch! ***** wears it proudly.Recently, while at our daughters home in the country where we had a get together with several family members, we could not find *****. This was the first time both I and our daughter logged in to our Tranquil app at the same time. We were so pleased that it was seamless to be on both cell phones at the same time to find him. (she has an ********** have an android so we had different maps).***** especially likes the call feature. He no longer remembers how to use a cell phone, so it is a huge relief, to him, to be able to push that SOS button on his watch & know that the watch will connect him to one of his family. What a huge blessing! Likewise he does not have to remember how to hang up or accidently hang up, since we have it set up to disconnect on its own when we hang up on the other end.Thank you to Tranquil technicians for great customer care and creating this wonderful technology for our dementia loved ones!!Tranquil LLC Response

My dear husband did not get to use his Tranquil watch for very long before he was called home to the Lord.I highly recommend a Tranquil watch for anyone with a family member who suffers from dementia or Alzheimers. This is invaluable for keeping your loved one home for as long as possible. The device was helpful for us while we needed it for my mother who suffers from Alzheimers. She didnt need to remember how to do anything, we could just talk to her and see where she was at quickly and easily. She wanted to live at home and in Assisted Living for as long as possible before having to move to a full care facility and this watch gave her tha ability to do that and gave her family a little extra peace of mind, thats she was safe. The watch, the app and the service were all excellent. I would highly recommend and we would use this device and service again anytime.Tranquil LLC Response

This GPS watch from Tranquil has been consistently improving over the months weve owned one. Our family member has Down syndrome and is now declining into Alzheimers. Caregiving is shared between our 90-year old mother and our siblings (including in-laws). We got this watch after this family member left the house in the few minutes while the caregiver unloaded the dishwasher. We like the ability to start tracking within two minutes of losing the Bluetooth connection at home which happens close to the boundary of our small yard. Since driving is not an option for us, we would like to be able to set the safe zone to smaller than the current minimum of 200 meters. Two improvements we expect soon will be first, our own ability to change the home location ourselves to allow vacation travel or caregiving at a siblings home (rather than requiring the great Tranquil support staff to do it) and second, automatically update the map of the location of the client in real time (rather than currently requiring user interaction with the app to get location updates). One challenge we deal with still is somewhat frequent false alarms of the home beacon alert while within our small home even after trying several locations of our base station and our mini beacons.
