Charlie was great to work with up front. His quote was significantly better than others I received, but buyer beware, you get what you pay for. What was initially a nice looking new fence, things deteriorated with each passing year. While I still stand by the original statement of being great to work with, and a much better quote than others, it has become very apparent that you can't substitute quality for cost. Our fence did not hold up well at all, with the majority of the footings heaving, and several panels lacking in structural integrity. Gates on both sides became unusable, and broke down almost completely. The decorative lattice top, while nice looking at first, began to fall apart rapidly. The wood itself seemed quite flimsy, and needed constant reinforcement with additional screws. We had someone from Fence Me In out to assess things, and they snapped some photos and had agreed some replacement panels may be needed. What was then communicated as a potential replacement being needed resulted in them coming out and saying they wouldn't warranty any of it. Our only consolation was that they removed the fence as it was no longer functional. Just a word of caution that a cheaper quote isn't always the best route to go. Really disappointed that our fence didn't even last 8 years.

Zero stars, poor quality wood, cheaply constructed, improperly constructed. Do not use.

This company is putting a fence up at my townhouse, and it has taken 6 months to finish. Very frustrated with this company.

This company built a new fence I believe last oct , no before the MN winter The wood is rotten wich looks like fungus or termites in the wood. Most of the posts are cracked from top to bottom, have holes from rotten wood, cracks in horizontal supports. Splits in perpendicular wood, the wood is rough and cause splinters when touched,there are dents chips cracked throughout fence. It seems the perpendicular posts are thin .wood is soft. The sections are not even some are short some are long. They left soil in the ground. I don't see any cement holding the posts in. The fence is already falling apart from a small storm . The owner said he would not give money back but replace some wood. I'm not sure how that will be accomplished without damaging it further. My old fence was over 20 years old and it was in better condition. I never had it stained but did repairs throughout the years. This company should not be in business with other home owners if putting up rotten, cheap wood. .
