      Janruary 17 2024 took truck to mauer chevrolet for routine maintenance, oil change and coolant flush.they did not properly do the coolant flush and blew up my vehicle.i took truck back in the next day to be corrected.it was the coldest days of winter.February 22 2024 truck burning through the oil, Mauer with malice took off rubber air intake hose clamp. which has compromised my trucks engine, allowing debris to bypass the air filter. this was malice, the clamp sits in rubber grooves which would never allow the clamp to come off.i want a new vehicle!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

      On 1-31-2023 at approximately 2 in the afternoon my 2022 Chevrolet Silverado with ****** miles had a complete engine failure due to a factory defect. I had the vehicle towed to Mauer Chevrolet of Inver Grove Heights. This is where I purchased the vehicle new from on May 11th 2022. February 1st **** in service called in the afternoon and advised me that the engine had failed and they were digging into it to find the point of failure. Wednesday February 8th I stopped back in to grab a pickup truck loaner. I inquired about my truck and they said it was out back. I went out back with a service person and was completely shocked with the sight of my truck. It was sitting outside unlocked with valuables inside. No one in service had called and told me my truck was outside unlocked. The engine bay was left completely open and uncovered with exposed wire connections and lines for HVAC and transmission lines. My window had plastic over it because the tech forgot to roll it up before pulling the wiring harness for the truck. I went inside to talk to **** the service manager. He acted as shocked as I did and assured me it would be brought inside. I've worked on vehicles my entire life and I am a proud member of Pipefitter's Local 455. My job consists of working on mechanical systems. All of the connections on the truck are meant to be kept free from dirt and especially moisture. That's why every connection has a rubber gasket or boot. I stopped back in to see if my truck had been brought inside like **** said and was told no because they needed a tow truck and didn't have room. This made me angry with **** because he assured me it would be brought in. He replied with "what do you want me to do?" I said for starters cover the engine bay at the very least. I then talked to Norm the dealership manager and heard more excuses but finally got them to admit it should be inside. 3-20-23 I picked the truck up and the radio stopped working. Dropping back off tomorrow. Electric problems.

      This customer was in for service on a separate issue regarding their vehicle. At one point during their visit, the customer accused our service department of scratching their vehicle on a prior visit "a couple years ago" according to the customer. We acknowledge our disagreement with their claim saying that is an unrealistic timeframe for us to accept, however we still decided to offer to have our skilled detailer work on the scratch as best as he can to make it look better, at no charge to the customer. That work was completed.

      This is the second time they damage my car and they really didn't fix the damage

      We told the customer we are not responsible for the issue because we didn't have anything to lead us to that conclusion. However, for the trouble, we will offer one of our highly skilled detailers to do as much as he can to address the issue at no cost but informed the customer it would not repair the issue. The reason is because the repair would require body shop work, which the customer is welcome to visit our shop for a repair quote. We will not take responsibility for paying for this repair.
