      I purchased a vehicle with Inver Grove Volkswagen on 5/10/22 for my son. At date of purchase, I agreed to purchase their service contract for $2,495, which I was told, can cancel at anytime. The car was stolen on 6/26/22. I went to Volkswagen on 7/1/22, and cancelled the service agreement. The warranty was built into the loan thru Ally. When there on 7/1/22, they said a they needed a form from the insurance company saying the car was a total loss; when the service contract has nothing to do with the car being totaled. I physically brought them the total loss confirmation from the insurance company roughly a week later. The woman said she would send the paperwork in. Three weeks past, I didn't hear anything. I went there a third time, and the same woman said the paperwork she submitted got misplaced.. She said she would have it expedited or ask if the manager would just cut a check. She said she would call me the next day, and I heard nothing. In the days to follow, I tried to call her, leaving voicemails and messages, and received no returned calls.. I am out this money. The insurance paid off the cars value, but not the service contract. I have never been treated so awful like this. Honestly, I think they were hoping I'd just forget about it, which I did for a while, because I got so frustrated. What I feel they owe me is the $ ********; less 1 month under the service ( $34.65); plus 6 months interest. Note on both financial documents submitted; That I put a $ ******** down payment on the car. Please help me with resolution to this matter. I would like a settlement of no less than $ ********. If you need any clarification or documents you can't read, please call me at ************. I'd be more than happy to drive the originals to you. Thanks for any help you can provide!

      We have reached out to ****************** directly.  We apologized for any misunderstanding. He will be stopping by the dealership today to pick up his check for $2500.00.  This resolution was satisfactory to *******************
