            Government Action: BBB reports on known government actions involving business’ marketplace conduct:

            Minnesota Attorney General Consent Order

            On October 22, 2021, the business entered into a Consent Judgement with the Minnesota Attorney General. The Consent Judgement settles allegations that the business sold or offered to sell eggs to its wholesale customers in Minnesota for prices greater than the 20% threshold set forth in Executive Order 20-10, dated March 13, 2020. Executive Order 20-10 prohibited selling, offering to sell or causing sales of essential consumer goods and services for excessive prices, which was defined as an increase of prices by more than 20%. 

            Under terms of the Consent Judgement, the business agreed to donate 90 thousand dozen eggs to Minnesota nonprofit organizations equally across the state within 18 months of the Consent Judgement and delivery will be at the business's expense. The Consent Order was for settlement purposes only and should not be considered as an admission of guilt or finding of violation of the law. For more details go to the below link.
