Purchased a used vehicle with a bad torque converter. The vehicle had a dealer warranty. The dealer is now trying to defraud the extended warranty I purchased, so they don't have to cover the repairs. The dealer was notified within 24 hours of the purchase that there was a significant issue with the drive train.Business response

we spoke to this customer today and assured them that we are fixing their truck under the Morries promise at no cost to them. We will be bringing the truck in for repairs tomorrow and if all goes right it will be back with the customer tomorrow night.Initial Complaint

The first Saturday after black Friday of 2022 Bought a car from this place and we got the warranty and have been in there 10+ times trying to fix the same issue since day one and in them trying to fix it they damaged the vehicle by adding oil every time we went in and messed up the cadalidic converter and than had me claim the warranty on a brand new engine and the issue is still not resolved when we got the car there was a crack in the windshield over the driver's view that when we were doing the test drive they said they can fix it or my insurance..... (fraud) and when I went in and told them I wanted it fixed they persisted that I have insurance take care of it and that they don't do any glass coverage We put $500 down in the beginning and and currently we are taking the vehicle to a place they referred me to and are not sure if they are covering this check up even though there is a warranty I tried calling them but there is no one available to approve it or not and also the airbag light came on... just have had nothing but headache from this car when we first got it it would loose all power no steering no gas nothing just out of no were and it happend about 8 times while driving and a few of them were on the highway going 60+ before they finally fixed that issue with the new motor that was after bringing it in 4 times for that issue I don't feel safe in this car I expressed that very clearly the first few times it happened and brought it inBusiness response

Hope all is going wonderful with you. **** bought a 2011 ***** Equinox with 142K miles from ** last year. The vehicle was sold as-is with a limited warranty. **** had a problem with her vehicle, we went above and beyond
to accommodate her - We replace her timing chains & catalytic converter at no cost to her. She had a problem with her engine @ 145K miles, the warranty replaced her engine at no cost to her.
Now, with 10K more miles, the customer want ** to pay for her diagnostics and repairs. At this time, the customer needs to take a personal responsibility for any repair or maintenance to her vehicle moving forward..

I am rejecting this response because:
We paid 100 dollar deductable for the engine. They admitted to over filling the oil everytime we brought it in for the check *** and it causing the cadalidic converter to start having issues. They admitted to s******* up the cadalidic converter. The cadalidic converter is still having the same issues. They are referring me to another dealership and contemplating weather they're gonna pay for it or not when it was the same exact problem when i bought the vehicle I have a warranty why wouldnt i just bring it to them to get fixed im guessing because they dont want to spend the money anymore and that's why they couldn't give me an answer on weather they are were going to cover the cost. They still have not fixed the windshield like they said during the test drive. They said everything would be taken care of and clearly it hasn't.
