      In September 2022 our church called to order multiple pieces from the 18 inch nativity set for our church - the Holy Family, animals, villagers, etc. - a multi-thousand dollar order. **** assured us that everything we were ordering was in stock and would be shipped within the next couple days.We received most of the items, but a few weeks before Christmas still hadn't received 4 of them. After multiple unanswered calls and voicemails, they finally let us know some of our sheep were out of stock but a few other items could still be shipped before Christmas.An ox and a sheep arrived broken, and we never received our final item.Again, after MULTIPLE unanswered calls, a call answered by the very helpful ****** (******? - who was gracious and did her best under not great circumstances or management), MULTIPLE promises on different dates that owner/manager **** would call us back when he got in (who "comes and goes," according to B), AND an unanswered email to customer service, we finally got a refund for the final item missing.Now it's February 2023, and I just got through (miraculously, R answered the phone himself!) to request a refund for the broken sheep (I fixed the ox myself), and has provided us a return shipping label for the sheep. He said he doesn't remember the original conversation (obviously, because it was 5 months ago) but wouldn't have said things were in stock that weren't and isn't sure why we thought they were, or there must have been a delay between calling and ordering. There was not. The order was placed on the very same call.I have never had a business take so long to respond to customer issues, nor have I had a worse customer service experience.DO NOT buy from House of Fontanini - use any other distributor possible.

      I ordered a 12 inch camel from the House of Fontanini and never got my product. I finally got someone to tell me they were finally going to get 2 camels in next week and I was number one on the list to receive one. That was 3 weeks ago. I'm fortunate that I purchased this product on my credit card so that I can cancel my order and get my money back. No one should ever buy from this company because it's a sham and should be closed down by the State. And now they are running a huge sale with 20% off. Don't buy from the House of Fontanini.

      Just like the other complaint. No communication after several calls and they just canceled the order with no excuse.

      I ordered nativity items on Dec 25, 2020 and have not received them 7 months later. I’ve gotten a couple of emails about problems in their supply chain, with a promise in March that “your shipment will ship sooner than the full instock date we expect in 3 weeks”. I submitted an inquiry about my order in late March when it didn’t arrive as promised and got an auto-reply that a ticket had been created and that someone would contact me. No one has. I requested a refund through PayPal and got another auto-reply. This is a scam and should be investigated.
