If you dont continue getting no guarantee, extremely risky spinal cord stimulators costing over $150k+ or other very invasive and expensive procedures you wont get any pain medication. It was ok in the beginning but it seems everyone is profiled as a drug seeker and continually asked for urinary analysis, which is fine but the practices regarding if you dont generate a specific high dollar procedure amount you will be cut down or cut off seems extremely discriminatory and sad as chronic pain patients have NOT caused the opioid epidemic, as determined by The *************************** and the pain medications and other supplemental prescription are all medically necessary.

Insurance fraud company. Doctor ************************* prescribed medical device from ************** Purchase of devices were never made, prescription to medical devices never authorized. Contacted company, verbally stated over the phone all charges canceled. Twin Cities Pain Clinic and Zynex Medical continues to attempt insurance fraud and charge my insurance $500 subscription each month for no services or products.

This is the worst place possible, if you already have Drs that you are familiar with and the procedure has been working for you. My problem with them is trying to make me change drs to them and make me to do stimulation ablation! Thats a very touchy situation to allow someone that doesnt have your best interest in mind' to go in your back! Im a senior citizen with multible on going symptoms, plus a recent auto accident! They pressured me so bad i rose my voice and they discharged me with No pain meds! Know these type of clinics are the only ones that can prescribe the needed opioids for pain. They didn't even give me anything to say they atleast wanted to help ween me off. Although im not addicted' i need something more than extra strength tylenol. They don't care about people, its the money...

I found the clinic personnel at their ***************** to be professional and wanting to help. But, when I had a trial for a final stimulator, I had lots of problems. I left a message on their after hours number for an on-call physician or nurse to call me. They never did. I was miserable for the trial period and no one cared enough to call me back. I cannot in good conscience recommend Twin Cities Pain Clinic to anyone because of that.

My experience with Twin Cities Pain Clinic is mixed. They were very friendly and had lots of options for pain management. I chose the Spinal Cord Stimulator implant. It worked well for the trial period, which was a week. I agreed to have it done. Unlike the trial period, I felt no relief from my pain. I have severe degenerative spinal stenosis and arthritis in my lumbar lower back. While the implant was still in, I was given several steroid shots, with no pain relief. I was also offered prednisone several times, which is a very short term solution. Minimal relief there. The doctor there also prescribed opioid pain patches since I cannot tolerate opiodes in pill form. No relief, and very costly, not covered by insurance. After the pain patch, I developed severe pain on my left side. Severe enough that i could not stand or walk without a ****** in my home. I called the Pain Clinic and left a message with the triage nurse to call me, begging for a response for help. I did not get a return call until 5:00 the next day. The doctor was not available, so they had the surgeon from the ************** give me a call. He admitted the Spinal Cord Stimulator should be removed as it was not successful for me. I then told him I could possibly have a fractured spine, since I had one previously and my pain was so severe. He talked to my doctor and she ordered an **** In the meantime,I was called by the ************** to schedule to remove the implant. As I was waiting to schedule the **** I was told the imaging place needed information about the implant from the doctors office before they could schedule it. I waited almost 2 weeks before I got a call just to schedule the **** The imaging place was not told the implant was going to be removed, therefore the information they asked for was not needed. The Pain Clinic was responsible for the misinformation and for the delay. I had asked to talk to someone else at the clinic and got no further than the triage nurse. All this was unacceptable. The doctor lacked follow through and accuracy. She did not follow through with the **** she sent incorrect directions for use for a prescription for the pharmacy, and did not send a new prescription to the pharmacy for several hours after my visit. I am thoroughly dissatisfied withe the way things have gone and how incompetent the staff is. I do not recommend the Twin Cities Pain Clinic to anyone!
