Purchased and INSTALLED the shower walls and bathtub to find a hole in the bathtub! After several challenging weeks of poor communication, we had 2 inspections to prove that it was a MANUFACTURERS DEFECT!!! My bathroom was just redone (all new sheetrock and already painted) and now it had to RIPPED out! The only thing they could do for me was say rip it out and bring it back to Lowes for a refund. They did once apologize for the large inconvenience and honestly did not seem to care. I WOULD NEVER PURCHASE MAAX AND WILL TELL EVERYONE I KNOW!!

OVERALL REVIEW: Great looking product if were as easy as it looks in the videos and brochures. However, the truth is there are manufacturing errors with hole locations, so things don't fit together like they should. They have major quality control issues and their #1 problem is CUSTOMER SERVICE. For a product with this expense, they need to do better.Problem #1: While installing the **** Utile shower surround, the Ulok alignment pins were not in alignment due to predrilled holes not lining up, causing a large gap between panels at one end. Despite the manufacturing error, we compensated, & continued with installation. Problem #2: While installing the 60" **** Reveal shower door, one of the parts in the box (threshold bar) was for a 48" shower door. This halted construction on my shower project. Problem #3: I contacted customer service, but they only work M-F ******* EST. When I was able to contact them on Mon morning, they informed me they need pictures of my receipt & the part. I sent the email with pictures & also asked them to contact me because I would like overnight shipping so I didn't face further project delays. This error was due to **** packaging & lack of quality control, so ownership of the error should be accepted by ****. I did not hear back from them on Tues, so on Wed, I called their customer service again. They said they had not received my email, but said they would check their "blocked email queue" to see if it was ****** **** was! Another day lost because of ****'s IT department incompetence. They told me they don't have a policy for expedited shipping. Their policy is to offer only regular 5-7 business day shipping. They also told me I should feel lucky the part I needed was in stock because many customers are waiting on back ordered parts & will not get them for another 2-3 months. I do not feel lucky. In fact, I feel inconvenienced & taken advantage of. I paid a lot of money for a product with terrible customer service during installation.
