I'm a classic car transport company. I picked up a nice Metropolitan for silver creek Classics, the people had bought from Bob Approximately 7 years ago an still loved the Nash Convertible but were getting up in years. Dealt with Bob on the phone for a 1975 Pontiac Grand Prix. Negotiated price and transportation. Felt totally trusting and comfortable dealing with Bob. Received vehicle and papers as promised and am totally happy with it.Review from Mary B.

Bob totally misrepresented the vehicle. His words, “it needs nothing”…an honest man would have choked on those words. I bought a 1965 F100 from him. I had a local guy setup to come do an inspection. He talked me out of it and had a guy in town, that he recommended, do the inspection. Obviously, Bob paid the inspector more than I did or this guy is Bobs brother-in-law. More money wasted on this vehicle. I have tried to contact this guy about the vehicle and he laughs. Here are a few issues on this vehicle that needs nothing. The front center of the frame took a huge hit and is bent. The shocks are original from 1965. The wheel cylinders leak, the flexible brake lines are rotted. The left front drum is warped. The parking brake cables are all cut with the center equalizer and adjustment section completely missing. The steering wheel is nearly completely broken through as only one of the 3 spokes keeps it from falling on the floor. The tires were 18 years old and dry rotted. The heater assembly was full of straw and rat turds. The two front fender wells were rotted all the way through. The front radiator mounts were rotted all the way through. The fuel gauge is inoperative. The horn ring is just pushed on. The horn has a button on the dash. The wiper switch doesn’t work. The motor was full of sludge. The lifters wouldn’t pump up. The carburetor was so gummed up that the rubber on the accelerator pump was stuck in the bottom of its bore. #2 spark plug wire was burned in two pieces. The distributor was full of rust and dirt and the centrifugal advance mechanism couldn’t work properly. The vehicle got the equivalent of a Maaco paint job, someone put brake shoes into drums that weren’t turned with one that was warped, changed one tie rod end, changed a rusted in half brake line and listed it as completely rebuilt. 6 months later and I am still treating rust underneath and replacing parts. It will cost me 3000 in parts and 6 months to lose 5000 when I sell it.Customer Response
