My complaint: On July 11, 2023, I signed papers with ******, the owner of Property Doctors, to reroof my house. The roofers began the project on July 15, 2023. The roof was completed except he over charged me $310.32 for a roof vent that was never installed. We, including ******, witnessed one of his workers damage my picture window facia while they were roofing. ****** said he would repair it at no cost. He also took a piece of siding off the back of my house in attempt to get the insurance company to reside my house. He put a mismatched piece of siding up there as a temporary fix. Again, even if he didn't get the siding job, he said he would repair the piece of siding as he doesn't like leaving a job undone. Nature of Dispute: Overcharged for materials never used, damage to facia never repaired, and damage piece of siding never resolved.Attempts to resolve:End of August/September 2022 followed up with ****** and he said he would follow up in the spring.May 22, 2023 left message at 4:36 pm asking for refund, and facia and siding repair. No response.June 8, 2023 2:54 pm Talked with ******. He said he would come over to look at it and settle up. No show.June 20, 2023 5:09 pm - I called ******, he said he is working on it. Will call me later with a date. He never did call back or show up.August 1, 2023 12:07 pm left ****** message wanting to know when he will take care of this. No response.August 16, 2023 5:24 pm -Left another message that I want this taken care of. No response.September 22, 2023 texted ****** if he didn't come over by 9-26-23 I would file complaint with BBB. He texted right back he will come out on Tuesday Sept 26th. Per his text "I been thinking about this for a couple weeks, so I didn't forget." However, he never showed up or contacted me. October 6, 2023 texted ****** "which Tuesday were you planning to show up at my place, still waiting! He never responded. As of today, I haven't had any response from him.Business response

I am rejecting this response because:
****** has NOT contacted me since I have entered the BBB complaint as he stated in the above message. My phone number and address have not changed. At this point, I would be satisfied to just get the $310.32 that he overcharged me for a roof vent that wasn't installed. Due to his procrastination, it is too late now to do the painting as it wouldn't adhere anyway and too cold for the siding that he said he would repair and never did. And, he's had an entire year to fix the issues and never made any effort to do it!

Hi *****, I did try last week and it went straight to VM. We can still get this all taken care of. You can reach me as well. The next two days look good to fix the couple issues. I'll try and reach you by phone to see when a good time would be to fix these couple things. Thanks, ******
