i reached out to the company and ***** got in touch with me we discuss pricing and films for my truck and once he quoted me $800 just to wrap my hood, and i told him that that was very overpriced and i could have it done some where cheaper and then he went and told me that if i showed him the quote for the other business he would match the price and then after that he didnt hold up his side of the deal and he told me he couldnt do it, i do not recommend this business at all just unprofessional and very overpriced for the borderline work they do, find some where else where there employees dont act like idiotsBusiness response

We received a complaint on our business from ***** ******* Customer contacted us to do some work on his car. We quoted him $800.00 to do the project. $800.00 for the project is very fair and market cost.
We would have to prep the car which includes wash, claybar, polish and decontaminate. We then would use 3M **** Vinyl to lay on his hood and change the color from white to black.
***** received a quote from another company for much cheaper, I mentioned to him that they are not using **** 3M and they are using the wrong film IJ180 (a print vinyl).
***** then received another quote with the company changing their quote from IJ180 to 3M **** matte black. I told ***** that we couldnt match that price because that price alone wouldnt cover the 3M film.
Other Companies can do it for less but they are not using 3m branded film. They might be using cheap Chinese brand film and not telling the customer. (customer would never know if its 3m or Chinese) we are a 3M certified shop so we use the film with pride.
I told the customer many times we couldnt match it, we offered a lower rate but he wasnt happy.
My question is why wouldnt he just go to the other company if it was the price we quoted?Customer response

I am rejecting this response because:
why would you say that youll match the price and then say that you wouldnt
