The service is the worst. They want to charge me for a gift card that has a 0 balance. I was never able to use any gift card and they want to deduct money from my account.Review from Walterine B

I rescheduled 3 payments, like you are allowed to do so, I received 3 separate emails that confirmed that the scheduled payments were successfully rescheduled with the new payment dates. But on the next 2 days the payments were presented unsuccessfully to my account . I sent a reminder email, the company responded that the first was a computer error. Second day I called and was left on hold at 3pm CST, at 5 pm CST, the phone hung up on me.Review from Th O

While sezzle is useful and could potentially have a place a a fantastic option for some, it has to work on things that frankly I don't think they intend to. **************** is absolutely non existent. What about the "Priority Customer Support", surely that must be.... no. Simply put, sezzles Priority Customer support is just the same nonexistent support, just more expensive. As I write this I'm going on 16 minutes on hold and still no one. Three days ago I requested an escalation on a payment issue- was told that the standard customer service rep couldn't handle these issues so I could expect a call from the escalation team between 1 hr and 3 days?? and here we sit, end of day 3 and I'm calling them and waiting on hold because of course they wouldn't call back. Like all companies now, customer service is 100% dead and greed rules.Review from Juan G

Id do 0 stars but i cant. They somehow slide in a member ship when you make a purchase using their platform and i just noticed for the past 3 months I've been paying for some membership that costs ***** a month. i canceled it immediately and messaged the support line but they state even though that charge just went through 2 day's ago they cannot refund me.So they happily take your money without giving you much warning but won't give it back.Review from Brittany T

I selected to use sezzle as my payment option on the vitabar website because it said I could make 4 payments, every 2 weeks. I assumed it was just like afterpay. Well instead of being able to use it for my payment, they charged me $17.99 for a subscription! They were not clear on anything, making to too easy to make a quick buck. I understand this may be a needed service for some, but I wasnt trying to subscribe to anything, just make a purchase through the service they advertise as literally just making payments on a purchase. Very disappointed for them tricking me into this. Pretty shady. Enjoy your $17.99 for nothing.Review from Samatha R

Ive had a Sezzle account for 5 years now..never have I ever had so many problems with this company within the past 2 months. Sezzle would freeze my account and tell me that I had failed payments because my bank opened chargebacks on certain payments, so I was making multiple payments to clear up the failed payments even thought they didnt failed. I called my bank and they had no idea what Sezzle was talking about, I had no open chargeback/disputes with my bank and I even provided proof to Sezzle what my bank told me. After I sent the proof Sezzle turned around and closed my account and deactivated my virtual Sezzle card. Ive been emailing them for over a week and all I get is the technical department is working on my case.no they arent lol they closed my account, Im not stupid.please dont open a account with this company.they are fraudulent and will take your money and act like they didnt do anything wrong!!!! I ordered a blazer with S/A formal through Sezzle in Dec 2023 I have did the complaint through the website I never got a call but u guys took my money and I never received this item u sent me a email saying sorry we missed your call and I never heard from u . If this company has bad reviews saying its a scam and taking peoples money why are u working with this company. I want my money back . This is unacceptable. This company gives u a fake tracking number that never says it has been delivered then I reached out to the company to cancel my order they sent me a email and said its on its way that I couldn't cancel it and I never got it. I am going to still put in complaints until I get justice my next move will be the attorney general who always comes through for me. I have been a good paying customer to ********************** but reading these reviews I may have to close my account this is crazyReview from Michael S

Bait and switch tactics! This company is a scam. The app presented a $500 "spending power" upon creation of my account. ********************** has a $12.99 membership fee which is required in order to purchase from ********************* and most major brands. Once I paid the subscription fee, the app dropped my "spending power" down to $250. There seems to be a penalty to shop at certain stores even after paying the membership fee. Sometimes my spending power/credit was $250, other times it dropped down from $200-175.Sezzle's reponse was that the spending power can go up and down at any time... so you never really have any clue what your spending power/credit is.They bait you with a nice credit limit then do not allow you to use that with out becoming a member. THEN, once you pay that fee, they drop the credit limit down and its a guessing game as to what kind of credit they give you. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY ON THIS SCAM!Review from Dante S

A SCAM. DO NOT USE. I was approved for $150 credit, and decided to impulse buy something for $50 just to start building some credit.Turned out I needed to pay $13 for a premium subscription, that rubbed me the wrong way but whatever.. I paid the $13, attempted to use the virtual card, and was hit with unfortunately you are not approved for Sezzle at this time SCAM. SCAM. SCAM. SCAM. SCAM. SCAM. The best part is no refunds or partial refunds for premium. SCAMMMMMMMMM How the h*** are they still operating????
