Allina unity uses agressive sales pressure on patients almost demanding they sign up for allina home care. They put a guilt trip on the patient about the safety of their home. They lead you to believe your release is dependent on signing up for privacy invasion by allina home care! The added stress to the patient is unacceptable plus the financial burden on people living on SS that can't afford it!Review from marilyn h

7-8-24 11:55 am. Their Courage ****** ************* was great; however, their ************ cannot be reached. I was on hold for 45 minutes-then I was disconnected. Called again, I could hear someone on the line, clearing their throat, sniffling, etc, but just kept pushing the button, "high call volume." I then called their general customer service **** and said, "Thank you for waiting, please stay on the line." Maybe if they would answer their patient's calls, they'd receive payment faster. Invoices only provide the amount due and do not list what dates of service you are missing. I went to rehab for 6 months so many dates involved. Would always pay with a credit card on site unless their machine was down which I guess was 2x in those 6 months, I had to review my bank statements for 6 months to determine when their office machine was down. Patients expect MORE from Allina! I called another number to file a complaint and was put on hold again. So frustrated & disappointed!Allina Health Systems Response

The staff was great during my visit. Dealing with the billing department, horrible. Three out of the four people I talked to on the phone seemed annoyed when I was trying to figure out how to get them to handle back-dated coverage through a second insurance provider. It's like they've never encountered my situation before and didn't want to spend any effort helping me out. They should be more understanding of people who don't know the magic incantations to get the billing straightened out.The other person was nice. They told me everything was taken care of and I could ignore my bill. I called a month later because I hadn't received any communications, and I find out they are still having issues billing my second provider. If I had not called back, my bill would have been sent to collections.Great job making me never want to deal with Allina ever again even if their staff do a great job treating their patients. To their phone support: be more understanding and don't sound like you're annoyed that someone called for help. You should be familiar with a variety of insurance situations and be willing to help. The people you are helping might not have had to deal with more complex insurance situations before.Review from Linda S

Caring Personnel and Very Good Doctors who work with your other Doctors to make sure everything is correct for your care and medications. Sweet people who care about you.I use Allina for everything, but I have to say that their Cancer Center makes me sure I can beat this cancer and they do all they can to aide me with my M.S. ******** am a hard patient due to all my illness's, but they do a fantastic job of it! Sincerelym ************** in Rockford - who uses Buffalo Allina for all of it, and if you dont get a good experience there, you might want to look at your own ways of dealing with people.Review from Cynthia L

I'd give zero stars if I could, this hospital has lied, cause me undue stress and anxiety. I am 37 weeks pregnant being told to find another hospital and clinic. Which most won't transfer you after 36 weeks as it's a health concern. But they lied said I threatened them when I didn't. Then pushed for me to come in alone to an appt after I said more than 5 times in the phone called I didn't want to be alone I wanted my spouse to be there with me. Then when I got there they blew off all my health concerns and didn't care about the possibility of me having pre-eclampsia. Told me well the baby is fine then refused to listen to *** of my concerns. So I got up and left didn't yell or scream or swear just left. Which is my right. Went to the front desk to ask to make a report of this and after my spouse told them not to bring me back to the room I just left it would only upset me further Which they ignored. I Told them they don't seem to care about my physical or mental health. I'm not a human incubator. I at this time walked out of the room again saw the so called doctor who is a man and knows all about the pain I'm going through which was c*** That I am not a human incubator I have feelings and pain. Crying historically and they had the nerve to put there hands on me to push me out the door. I left cause I was done with the disrespectful people.they called me 2 hours later to inform me im not welcome back and need to find a different place to deliver. I'm 37 weeks no hospital will see me. So I am stuck to give birth at home where any amount of things could go wrong. Then they wrote me a letter in which letter they lied on 3 separate comments in the letter which even my spouse said that didn't happen like that. Along with I requested copies of the guidelines and policies which I was told I could have a copy of, the doctor informed my spouse he could show them to him on his phone. I filed a complaint against a provider and contacted the ******************* department over 4 months ago regarding this (and followed up multiple times) and have yet to receive a response as of 4/24/24. I will never trust Allina Health with my Healthcare again and I recommend everybody else does the same.Allina Health Systems Response

I love my Doctor and the nurse that works for her I dont have a problem they deserve more than five stars more like 10 stars. But I do have a problem with the calling service. They are not understanding when you want to leave a message about a prescription and I have Allina MyChart that shows what pharmacy and they say the pharmacy is not on there and when you talk they have to talk over you or argue with you. I will never call Allina again I will either go on Allina MyChart or go to the clinic in person to talk but I will never call Allina clinic again. I should have known this would happen because it happens all the time when it comes down to my prescriptions or my sons and even my husbands the people that answer these phones are nothing but rude and inconsiderate and I have no choice then hang up on them and message ***************** on *******.Review from Cam W

They dont tell you that visits to a general practitioner are billed at $600 an houruntil its too late!Bwahahahah! Hear that? Thats the sound of Allina health laughing maniacally as they conveniently neglect to mention the absurd price of a basic visit!Not to mention how they pad their bill time. They round up. You were with a doctor for 15 minutes? Lets call it 30. Heck lets call it ******************************************* information on a computer screen after they left. Well I have mixed feelings about Allina. My primary doctor ************************* I really like and she does a great job *** knows how I am. But my Afib is back and after seeing the cardio specialist the things he sujested does not consider how I grew up. I now understand why my mother when faced with the same type of doctors with my same medical conditions decided to srop medications and go on hospice. It would be great to live the perfect life that most doctors would like us to live but for those of us who do not live that life still after seeing the cardio specialist wonder how long I have if I still want to enjoy life.Review from Ma L

I HATE the somewhat recent changes that have been made to their phone system. Allina has centralized all the phone usage which means that if I call to get information about something specific I have been talking with my physician, nurse, pt provider about I have to first leave a message which then gets relayed to the correct city which then gets relayed to the correct department which may or may not get relayed in time to the person I am trying to contact. My contact then tries to reach me which, because I live in the country, I may or may not have signal to receive and if I DO receive it I have no way of knowing who is calling because the numbers are always different which means that I won't answer it anyway because I don't answer calls from numbers I don't know which means they need to leave a message for me to call back to the same unresponsive number which starts the **************** again. As much as I would like to stay with my doctor, this phone system is so unresponsive that I may be forced to leave Allina.
