I have tried many times to call Union Fidelity Life Insurance Company today from noon to 3:30 pm and have been waiting for a long time to get a call. The customer service is poor and the ********************** has no website to view any thing about the company. I have never received my insurance policy since I started my insurance in ****. So I decide to cancel my policy. ****** Sept 28, 2023.PS: The following same thing as ************ happened to me today: I have tried calling them multiple times and the calls hang up. I tried leaving my callback number and they call back and hang up.Review from Heidi B

I have tried calling them multiple times and the calls hang up. I tried leaving my callback number and they call back and hang up. One time the lady even made a huge sigh before hanging up on me. There is no other contact information given for someone to speak with them.

Have been with The Union Fidelity Life Insurance Company for 27 years as a client.I have only had to contact them 3 times in all those years each time by phone.Each time i have dealt with them my issue was handled in professional matter and resolved each time.I would recommend Union Fidelity to everyone.Thank you UFLIC.Review from Albert F

My husband had a life insurance policy for our dependent children with this company since February ****, (there was a clear policy / certificate number, too). I called their number (per a Bloomberg related page. Finally, after calling the number and being on hold for 10 or so minutes -- a recording indicated the company was experiencing "a high volume of calls, please be patient." A young man answered, I gave him the information, per a December 10, 2021 letter from the company addressed to my now-deceased husband. I was informed there was no "death benefit," and this was (is) a life insurance policy! That did not make sense. Then, with a sinking heart, I saw the poor reviews on the Better Business Bureau website. My husband paid premiums to this company for 20 plus years. What is kind of company is this? How can they be listed on a Bloomberg site if they're not legitimate? Also, this company does not have a website or any way to contact them, other than the ***** number. I'm contacting a lawyer today to see what I can do.Review from Bonita Boy

James C is changing his rating of Union Fidelity Life Insurance Company. After we did the one star review, we got action from the company and received our insurance claim within about a week. Except for the one insurance claim that they neglected to send initially, the rest of our claims were handled fairly well.Union Fidelity Life Insurance Company Response
