I’d give this place more than 5 stars if it let me! Elijah is hands down the best! My key happened to get thrown out with the garbage. He was the first place I called, quoted a decent price (I was expecting higher) and was able to get here fast, while communicating when he left and was close to my house. His service, professionalism and demeanor was definitely above and beyond. I won’t hesitate a single second to call him again if I ever need a locksmith and I’ll be dropping his name to everyone I know. Thanks again Elijah…you rock!

The service I received from Stronghold Lock and Key was excellent. Called several locksmith businesses in the middle of a hot afternoon when my car key wouldn't turn to start the car. All of them turned me down although their websites and ads said they worked on car locks and ignitions. When I reached Stronghold Lock and Key and talked with Elijah he was on another job, gave me a positive answer willing to help me, and came withing the hour. He had no objection to working on my old car like others did when I called them. He worked hard and got my ignition drum and keys fixed in about an hour. I liked his work ethics; without wasting a minute he started taking the steering column covers our and access the ignition lock which is cumbersome and hard to do in a car stuck in a hot garage, tried his best and succeeded at repairing the system instead of just trying to replace the ignition parts and keys. Elijah also exchanged the internal parts of the remote fob on one key that wasn't fitting the lock well with a spare that fit but had a bad remote fob. Funny, that bad key was a duplicate made at the dealer two years ago, likely responsible for the failure inside the ignition drum. The price of the repair was reasonable (yest these things are expensive, but Elijah's bill was lower than a couple of guess estimates I received from locksmiths that also were reluctant and could not come any time soon.
