On or about June 28 I leased a new ******* Santa Fe from ******************. Lease payments were made to ******* Leasing monthly on time. On August 27 or 28th a double payment was deducted from my Checking account. I called ******* Leasing on August 29, I was told a check would be returned to me for the amount. Today is September 26, 2022, The next payment of ****** is due tomorrow and I still have no check and now they tell me it takes 30 to 45 days to get a refund. It appears I am going to be late of the September payment due to no fault of my own. I leased the vehicle at the ****************** dealership and they should know what is happening to their customers.Business response

***********************, General Sales Manager of ********** ******* called ******* Financial this morning and they indicated that a check had been issued to the customer on September 14th and had been cashed. He then contacted ****************** who confirmed that the check had been received and the issue was resolved.

Better Business Bureau:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. The Luther auto group went over and above to resolve this issue. It was the ******* leasing company that was the problem. ThanksInitial Complaint

I purchased a 2016 GMC Acadia from Luther ****** on 11/13/21. I was satisfied with the purchase until it came time to us the Air Conditioning this summer. I noticed it was making noise a month or two ago, which has progressed to a non-functioning A/C unit. It was advertised as having functioning A/C so to have it break the first summer season is disappointing. I called to see if I could get some kind of benefit from bringing it back to their service department and was told since there was no warranty there was nothing they could do. I wasnt expecting them to fix it for free because I dont think they knew about the issue when they sold it to me, but was expecting some goodwill toward resolving the issue, like a significant discount on finding the leak and fixing it.Business response

I spoke with *************************** on August 4th and set up a service appointment for him at a Luther location close to his home for diagnosis of the A/C problem. The car went into the shop on Monday, ********* was contacted by the Service Manager, *******************, later in the afternoon. They charged the A/C and it was working, however if there was a slow leak in the system that they couldn't see, the problem would arise again. ***** and I agreed that he would call ******************** and discuss a longer term diagnosis process that would require him to drive the car for a few hundred miles to see if there was a slow leak somewhere in the system. Once we know the scope of the problem, ******************** and I have agreed that we will reengage and come to a resolution that he finds satisfactory.
