Complain for Crown Drain Cleaning company owner ****** is the one in this company: 1- no disclose the price before the work, then through a big bill to client and Not negotiable. what he did is just changed one part $55( he said it after damage the credit of client) and applied the license for $50 ( also he said it after damage the credit of client), it is less than one hour work, asked $295. we negotiated it for $200, he didn't like it, and he put the lien on the property even before the deadline of payment. he was out of mind for some reason. 2- he even told the lawyer saying that he did not tell the price many times before he worked neither, this is not the 1st time. He didn't think of it as the bad manner of practicing business, he didn't think that it is sort of trust, but he used it against client as his leverage and good excuse to against the client, I just can not believe what kind of business ethic it is!!! 3 - he received part of the bill $200 of $295 during the before the deadline of payment from client but he didn't deposit it, but he sent it to lawyer, then put the lien on the property, can you just believe it?! for $95 short before deadline of the payment, he didn't want to negotiate it but against client. 4- now he is so desperate asking client to pay his lawyer fee about $1604.50, put the big cost to client continually, anyone would want to work with this kind of contractor? how can we get rid of it?Business response

I had performed work for ************ on several occasions prior to the work that is the subject of her complaint. She had never requested a price prior to me performing that work, and never voiced complaint about the quality of that work or the amount that I charged her. After completing the recent work, ************ sent me a check for less than the full amount of my invoices. She did not inform me beforehand that she would be sending me less than the invoice amount, nor did we negotiate a lower price as she claims. I informed ************ several times that if she did not pay the full amount, that I would have no choice but to file mechanics liens against the properties and pursue legal action to collect what I was owed, which would ultimately cost her more. Unfortunately, ************ refused these several follow-up payment requests, leaving me no choice but to take these actions. The work performed had a permit pulled and was inspected and passed.
