I'm giving this a one-star simply because it won't let me put 0. Minnesota Autism Center ****** Campus is the most horrible, unappreciative, undermining, toxic, belittling, dolting, neglectful, discriminated, and disengaged work environment I have ever participated in. The upper staff of this campus is completely cliqued and shows favoritism to the staff who ***** noses with their superiors and will sabotage fellow staff to receive praise from the uppers. The heads of staff also do not have the common sense to come in and assist their obviously struggling staff in this demanding work environment though they have been asked via electronic device or in-person for assistance as they simply "do not have the time". Staff is often left fending for themselves and told to not use the safety training they have in order to defend themselves. Staff are essentially a punching back for students to use at their discretion without reprimanding the students. If staff were to try and apply the *********** training received, upper staff would reprimand the other staff, contradicting what was learned in safety care training. The lack of communication between staff, caseworkers, and supervisors is atrocious and laughable. The concerned staff has tried to communicate that the communication styles of the upper staff need improvement and this request was brushed aside with no action or follow-up fulfilled for months. Staff's well-being has also been compromised on many occasions with staff who have medical restrictions being required to do jobs against their doctor's ******* The disregard for staff physical and mental health after an injury is discounted as nothing more than an annoyance and in return job, security is threatened. Due to severe weather issues, staff are constrained to commute to MAC as their doors do not close even if school districts surrounding have shut down. The immoral staff of this campus is disheartening as their students truly need a strong foundation to survive.
