Ashton McGee Restoration was contracted for full roof and siding replacement also to include repalcement of all step flashing, attic vents, fascia, soffit and gutters. The roofing project completed 05/2023 and the siding completed 08/2023. During the roofing project I had to call several times because workers were not aware of the scope of work agreed on by myself and Ashton McGee Restoration. Upon completion of the roofing project I had discovered the ridge vent had not been replaced and instead was just shingled over as well a missing piece of drip edge was not added. At this time I contacted the company and they returned to fix the ridge vent and told me the drip **** could be added at the time of siding. During the siding project I again had to contact the company several times because the required materials were not ordered and the workers on site were again not aware of the scope of work agreed upon. During replacement of the fascia the crew damaged the drip edge in multiple areas. On October 25th *************************************** the roof along the wall. At this time I noticed not all step flashing was replaced as agreed on. I contacted the company and the crew was scheduled to be out around 2pm October 26th. I receieved no information beyond that and at 7 pm the crew arrived now attempting to find a roof leak using phone lights and head lamps. I expressed my concerns with this and the project manager decided to continue anyways finishing the repair shortly after 8pm. Upon my inspection the next day I found during the repair they completely cut the siding corner post in an attempt to slide a kickout flashing in and sealed along the shingles and J-channel ultimatley still with a roof leak and now damaged siding. The company was again contacted about the continuing leak in which they were supposed to be out on November 2nd to repair. I never received a phone call or any information on that day and nobody arrived or contacted me in the days following.

Ive been dealing with Ashton McGee for the past year since my roof and siding was damaged in a storm. On April 27th I signed a contract to repair my siding they said it would take 4or 5 weeks to get the siding and set up a day to work on it. I texted my contractor 5 times in the last week and havent received any response from him and Ive been calling Ashton McGee a couple of dozen times in the last week and finally got someone to answer his name is ****. I asked him what was going on and let him know Ive been waiting for Ashton McGee to get a date set up .I dont think that they ordered the siding and now I have decided not to do any more business with them.I would give them a one star review because they havent done there job

We understand this homeowners frustration with the delay of ordering and product delivery.  Ashton McGee Restoration Group wants to complete jobs just as fast as homeowners do.  We are at the mercy of our suppliers and shipping.  After receiving this complaint our Production Manager contact the homeowner and they agreed to allowing us to order the production and we had our supplier do us a favor and get it on the soonest truck available (hopes of the week of 7/17) and priority is known by all our production staff that this build needs to happen as soon as we get word that product is in.  The homeowner did allow this with the expectation that the work will be done by 7/21/23.  We appreciate the homeowner working with us and feel that this is resolved.

       Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.     As long as Ashton McGee gets the job done by 7/23 I will agree and drop the complaint with them so far its only a promise like usual
