I bought parts from ****** at the parts counter for a remington model 11 shotgun made in the 1920's.I specifically asked her if I could return them if they don't fit. She said yes.I was in the store on 5/10/2023 and she sold me the wrong parts. I came back on 5-11-2023 and exchanged them for some other parts that did not work and The $70 **** stock she sold me. The ***************** stock did not work with the gun when I got it home. I immediately returned it to the store along with the friction ring that did not work. The owner of the store seemed upset I was returning it. He even called ****** at home to verify if she told I could bring it back if it did not work. He refunded the $16 for the friction ring part that was incorrect and possibly altered with a cut. He refused to take the ***************** stock back stating it was cracked and worthless and he didnt want it after he offered $20 to me for it. I refused $20 and stated again ****** said I could return it if it didn't fit. He walked away angry and said he didn't want it.

I helped this customer.  He asked for a full refund, which we always give on parts.....as long as they are in the same shape when sold.  In this case, the customer was sold a piece of wood "As New"....He returned it with cracks and scratches.  I wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt, so I called the lady that sold it to him.  She said he installed the wood in front of her and seemed to force it on his gun.  This casts a doubt on his ability to fit wood properly, and after hearing this, I promptly told him I was not interested in purchasing it back from him as I could not sell it with the cracks, etc.

He then asked for a refund for a Piston ring he also bought from **.  My other employee gave him money back for this...but when I saw it later, I found out that this also was cracked.

I am rejecting this response because:
He is lying. The parts do not fit the gun to make it work properly .

They are not knowledgeable or they would have told me the parts won't work instead of just trying to make a sale.

Unfortunately this guy is dishonest unlike his father ***** and grandpapi cap. This would not have happened on their watch.

There are alot of negative reviews on ****** for this gun shop. He earned every one of them.

Very sad that this person has to say such bad things about me, and also to bring in my relatives that have passed away...

      This is my last response...

Just because this "customer"  doesn't know anything about guns, does not give him the right to bad mouth our service.  It is very obvious that he cannot repair guns, and he should leave that to professionals.  He only knows how to break good parts...and how to get under my skin by using my father and grandfathers name against me.

If he knew them at all, he would know this....1. ***** would have asked him to leave, and 2. Grandpa Cap would have thrown him out.

I am rejecting this response because:

Business man refuses to take responsibility for his staff and products. He doesn't understand customer **********************. He attacks and demeans customer. He is dishonest and only cares about profit.

This is a simple handguard change out on a shotgun only requiring the right handguard and unscrewing the magazine cap. Sliding off wood handguard and sliding on new handguard. He sold me the wrong handguard and refused to take it back as his staff stated I could return it if it does not work.

It did not work and the one I ordered from *********** parts fit and worked. It looks nothing like the one he sold me which he knew was the wrong part. He knows what he did and refuses to admit it because he had to show off for his staff and bad mouth a customer and pump his ego up.  Sad to see all the complaints about this guy. No one ever complained when ***** was running the show.
