On 7/27/2021, I purchased a Frigidaire brand dishwasher from Steve's Appliances, because of their claims of integrity, commitment, and diligence to exceed customer expectations. Their outdoor sign advertises ********* values and we were happy to support a local shop over a big box store. We paid for installation on the new dishwasher, which was installed on 8/6/2021. In mid-November, the dishwasher had an error code and no longer worked. A call to ******* regarding our 3.5 month old dishwasher resulted in them telling me they would not help... call Frigidaire. A call to Frigidaire resulted in a service appointment. Three service appointments later, it was determined the dishwasher was not repairable, due to being installed damaged in the first place by Steve's Appliances prior to installation. A fourth service call for photos to submit to Frigidaire ensued (late January now). Eventually, a replacement dishwasher was sent by Frigidaire & was received by Steve's appliances. We received a phone call from ******* to inform us that they had the dishwasher, but would be charging us to install the warranty replacement. They first quoted $250, changing to $100, "as a favor." This appointment is to replace a dishwasher that worked in my home for 3.5 months, and has now been broken since mid-November, all because ******* installed a damaged product! ******* does not stand by the product they install, they do not provide customer support when requested, nor do they "exceed customer expectations." They advertise "Free metro delivery and recycle of old appliances" AND "free normal Installation of in stock dishwashers and microwaves," which I would think a warranty replacement would certainly qualify, especially if the appliance store installed a damaged product in the first place. I request a refund for the installation, in the amount of $100.Business response

We were working with ************* to process a change out of her dishwasher through Frigidaire. Frigidaire orginally told us ************* was responsible to pay for the installation fee. By the end of the process Steve's Appliances is going to get paid from Frigidaire. Once we found that information out we immediately gave ************* a refund back of $100. There are no more issues.Customer response
