      I ordered a ring for my wife that was originally supposed to ship on 6/25. On 6/25, I received an email telling me that my estimated shipping date had been pushed out to 7/3. When I asked what had happened and how they did not know until the day it was supposed to be ship out that it would be over a week late, I received a stock reply about "the complexity of the design and diamond availability". On 7/2, I receive an email saying the shipping date had been delayed until 7/8; again, I ask for any specific information about what is causing the delay and get the same stock response. On 7/7, I get an email telling me the ring would not ship until 7/12 and then on 7/11, I get an email saying the ring would not ship until 7/17. Within all of this back and forth, I also called them twice (not sure on exact timing, believe after the second and third delay emails) and they communicated that someone would follow up with me, but never did. After the email on 7/11, I responded and communicated that I would be disputing the charge with my credit card company because they had not delivered my item... and it magically shipped out the following day. Gave two stars instead of one as at least the ring looks nice, although I am now getting the ring appraised as I do not trust that the specifications they provided.

      **Subject: Completely Unacceptable Experience with Grown Brilliance** I am compelled to share my extremely disappointing experience with Grown Brilliance, where incompetence and poor customer service have marred what should have been a joyous occasion. In August 2023, my fiancé and I chose Grown Brilliance to purchase our wedding rings. Unfortunately, this decision has led to months of frustration and disappointment. Shortly after receiving the rings, a diamond fell out. Believing in the integrity of Grown Brilliance, we reached out for a repair rather than contacting our insurance. The company agreed to fix the ring, but this was just the beginning of an ongoing ordeal. Upon receiving the repaired ring, more diamonds fell out not once but repeatedly with each subsequent repair. The quality assurance on these repairs was non-existent, and each resolution attempt only led to further issues, culminating in a ring that didn’t even fit—crafted in the wrong size! Throughout this process, the customer service was appalling. It took multiple calls to even reach a supervisor, and when I finally did, the response was lackluster. Promises of callbacks went unfulfilled, and when pressed for answers, excuses were made without any real action being taken. I was astounded by the lack of accountability and the casual dismissal of my concerns. This situation is utterly unacceptable. I am now left with a product that is unusable and a customer service experience that leaves much to be desired. All trust in Grown Brilliance has been eroded, and I am seeking a full refund for the rings that have brought nothing but stress and disappointment to an otherwise joyful occasion. I urge potential customers to consider this experience as a warning. The lack of professionalism and customer care displayed by Grown Brilliance is not what anyone should have to deal with, especially when it comes to such significant and sentimental purchases.

      We acknowledge the series of unfortunate events that occurred through our complimentary repair process with the sizing and loose/missing stone issues with the jewelry. We regret any inconvenience and have apologized to the customer. Despite our offer to remake the jewelry at our expense, the customer declined and insisted on a refund, processed 9 months after our 30-day return policy. We allowed for a one-time exception for the customer to return orders 57054 and 57053, 9 months beyond our standard 30-day return policy. Upon receipt of the returned jewelry, the remaining balance due will be processed to the customers original payment method. We've already provided a pre-paid return label to the customer and have taken this feedback to improve our services.       I had a fantastic experience with Grown Brilliance. The ring arrived on time and had better quality than the guaranteed stone (VVS1 instead of the VVS2 shown). Was able to propose and wow the in-laws, altogether it is what I bought and asked for. It also came with the promised IGI documentation.

      I spent $12,000 with this company on August 29, 2023 for an engagement ring for my girlfriend. I was careful to choose the diamond that I wanted. I focused on quality over size, choosing a 3.16 carat diamond, Ideal Cut (highest grade cut), E (excellent color), VVS1 (very very slightly included). Days later, I receive an email. They had already sold the diamond I ordered, and were replacing my diamond. This new diamond was 3.17 carat, Excellent cut (a step down from the one I ordered), E, VVS1. I contacted them back and told them I was not happy with a diamond that was a lesser cut than what I ordered. Customer service told me this diamond is a better cut than what you ordered. I told them to go back to the chart on THEIR OWN WEBSITE, which shows "Ideal" is the highest cut. They finally conceded that I was correct, but insisted the new diamond was worth more than the one I ordered. They offered me a $200 refund ONLY after I made it VERY clear how unhappy I was. I expressed I wanted to cancel the whole order, but they ignored me and insisted on a $200 refund. I was told that I would receive an email with the tracking number. September 20th, it arrived at my house while I was at work. I had to rush home and delete my ring camera footage before my now fiance saw it. Almost ruined the surprise, as the package was clearly from a jeweler. The order was missing the "complimentary gift" that it was supposed to come with, and the engraving on the band was CROOKED. They apologized for not updating the tracking number, and argued with me about the engraving. They told me my message was too long, that's why the engraving came out so poorly. It simply says "I love you, always."... They offered to fix the engraving but I was supposed to be proposing in 9 days, they could not guarantee it would be fixed by then. Today is 10/16/2023, my engraving is still crooked, I have not received a refund, I have not received the "free gift", and my diamond is NOT THE QUALITY I ORDERED.

      My fiancé and I placed an order for my engagement ring a month ago. The anticipated shipping date was scheduled for three weeks ago; however, we have encountered repeated delays from the company. We have yet to receive the ring after a month of waiting (because it hasn't even shipped). In addition to our own experience, we have come across numerous complaints from dissatisfied customers who have expressed dissatisfaction with the company's inability to provide timely delivery of quality products. Furthermore, navigating their customer service has proven to be a significant challenge. Over the course of two weeks, we made more than five calls to their customer service team, during which we were assured that someone would return our call. Unfortunately, no one ever followed up with us. This consistent lack of response leads me to suspect that the company may not have the ring in stock, reasoning for the repeated postponements of the shipping date. As a result, we are now actively pursuing a refund, although the outcome of our refund remains uncertain. Given these circumstances, I caution against engaging in any transactions with this company, as they appear to operate in a questionable manner that raises doubts about their legitimacy and reliability. If we don't receive the ring within the next two days or a refund, I will be filing an official BBB complaint.
