We walked through a New Listing by Kris Lindahl Real estate in ********* ********* the end of March 2022.We really liked the house and proceeded to immediately write up a full price offer. We agreed to the amount of ******* money and a 5 day inspection period. We immediately hired our own Inspector to go through this home. Upon inspecting the attic area he noticed severe fire damage with damaged trusses and plywood was all scorched. We brought this to the attention of the listing agent and she admitted that she had known about the previous fire damage and it was not disclosed in the listing or in any of the provided documentation about the house. The listing agent allowed us to have a contractor come out and look at the damage and come up with an estimate of what it would take to correct the problems. This estimate was over $100,000 in damage repair to make the home safe and liveable but even that didn't explore possible mold trapped in the walls and floors of the home. After this inspection the listing Agent admitted that Mr. ********* was also aware of the previous fire damage and decided it wasn't important to address.Completely disappointed with the way this was handled by Kris Lindahl Real Estate. I will never do business with this company or any houses they are marketing.
