Drove my semi with them in December 2021 around 11 days. Used my own money for fuel to get to a trailer they had in ******** after that they would take forever to load and unload me if I had stayed any longer we would of been in greater debt. This is the first time in all my life I have been with a company and left negative in my bank than what I started. They want use my earnings to pay their bills and hide behind a contract. But lucky for me we don't live in ******. Starting a claim for loss wages and charges for recovery of the equipment that they have me bring to the address in MN and I'll see if we can find anything else too add on with or attorneys.Business response

When this Operator was hired he knew we did not have a terminal in ** and that he would have to come to MN to pick up a trailer at his own expense. We had another Operator who's truck needed to go into the shop in MO so we had him go to MO instead of MN to pick up a trailer which saved him many miles. We loaded him then out of MO. When he had to wait to get unloaded on one of his loads he did get 100% of the detention fee that we collect from our customer which was $500.00. He also had repairs which cost him ******* to pass his DOT inspection that he was charged back for. Viking Land did not do anything that wasn't justified. This Operator knew all our policies and procedures before he started. We even came in on Saturday to have him sign off on his contract, He had stated that he wanted to stay but his wife did not want him to work for us.Customer response
