  After the hail storm we had about a month ago this company came through our neighborhood and inspected houses. I signed a contract for a new roof on house and sheds, pressure wash decks and repaind trim. I even got them th check from the insurance company. Then they called me and told me they don't have a painter and I would have to do that myself. I am currently waiting to have new knees put in by the VA and they were being paid for the painting. I am a 100% disaled veteran I told them I would give them some time to find a painter but oday they called and said all they could do was the roof and the rest was my problem so I told them to return the check so now I am stuck going into major surgery and stuck with this fly by night scammer.

  *****, I was told you were going to write a complaint. That is your right to do so. The facts are a little different. Correct we do not do deck stating and painting. We have a subcontractor that does that work. We can set that up for you or you can find someone else to do that portion of the work.  You also need painting done in other parts of the house i.e., **********. that was damaged by the hail. The rep told you that it would all be done. Then informed you it wouldn't fall into your timetable of getting it all done. Which you were not ok with, so we refunded you your check to find someone who can get your work done in your timeline.  It is very busy right now. We get everyone on the schedule as soon as possible.

   I am rejecting this response because:  This is a complete lie.  I was told you painter quit and it could take up to 2 years to finish this as you had no one to do it.   ***** told me I would have to find someone else myself and you would refund part of the money.  This is a contract.  That is when I got mad and gave you 30 days.  He said you do not have a painter anymore and he didn't know.  Now all of a sudden you have a painter.  I realize ***** is new, but that is your responsibility and not mine.  This can be settled in one of 2 ways.  Either you accept hte entire contract and do all the painting and staining along with the roofing as it specifies, I will give you the time you need, however insurance gives 6 months or the other part of money is not paid.  The other way is with lawyers.  As a 100% disabled veteran there are certain laws to protect me that go beyond like abucse of a senior or disabled person.  I myself would ****** you take the job and get it done.  I do apologize for getting so upset last week was not a good one with the VA.  Thanks

  I apologize that there was some miss communication about the painters. The painters we use, we outsource. There timeline is out of our control when they get things done. ***** said you could use the one who we know or find one yourself. That money portion would be returned and not invoiced to you have you decided to find your own painter. We are an exterior company, ***********, Siding, Windows and Gutters. Painting isn't something we do. Once again, we have people that we use if you want to use their services, but they have their own schedules. Even if ***** did give you the wrong information, you did speak with Nate, and he did explain this scenario to you on how we work with painters and exterior. We could have got our portion done in your timeline.  But instead, your adamant in getting all work done in 30 days and if we couldn't do that, that you wanted your check back. We honored that request. You are free to use whoever you want at this point we canceled our agreement with you based on your request.
