    *address in step 1 is incorrect, that is my address but I do not have one for the company I am filing a complaint about* April K**** is the business owner of the company Sophisticated Grace Photography and my now husband and I paid her associate package to photograph our wedding September 10, 2022. Since then we have received our “preview” of photos and were supposed to have received our full gallery a few months later. This is not stated anywhere in the contract but April had insinuated that it would only be a few months. We are coming up on 8 months since our wedding and have not received our full gallery. My husband and I have texted numerous times, most of the time without a response and have always been sent to voicemail when calling. Her responses are aloof and distancing with no true commitment to a day that we would receive our photos. The best we got was “very very soon” per her text which was over 2 weeks ago and minimal communication since. I am happy to provide all documentation as well as screenshots of conversations. All we want is our photos from our wedding 8 months ago. If possible, a compensation for the long wait and in exchange will forfeit our future free session with the photographer

    Please read so you know what you are getting into! The following things we dealt with are not okay: Didnt show up for our original engagement shoot date - we had to call her and something came up. I tried not to read into this and stayed positive about our decision to use her service.Late day of wedding to the salon. Everyone was done getting ready when she arrived. Missing photos of the groomsmen getting ready Missing photos of our wedding band. Why wouldnt you take photos of the stage and them performing? Decor shots - I didnt need 20 of the donuts - missing cocktail bar sign, seating chart with floral arrangements, nothing of the buffet Hardly any of the ****** parents and family. Stayed at the reception for ************************************************************************************************ the evening. Waiting 7 months for all photos- 5 months since first drop. We know that is an incredibly long time to complete a job. We also had no communication from her. We had to reach out often inquiring about our photos. I also feel the quality was lacking based off of how long you had to complete them. The key item to me is the lack of professionalism. She never communicated with us until after months of reaching out and frankly begging for updates. So much so that I had to have my mother reach out. We felt taken advantage of and disrespected as a client. We understand people are busy. We understand her being a single working mom. We gave her more grace than most people would have. But to throw at me that you are working two jobs and its my fault that Im asking you for what is mine is wild. We paid for her service bottom line and we expected our photos in a timely manner. Maybe this is too much for her to handle. I would hate to see more couples let down during a momentous occasion like ours.It hurts us knowing there are photos well never see. We expected so much more from her and are disappointed.
