We hired Brad Kinney and Son Moving- it was the worst experience I have ever had with a mover. The agreement was to move us out of the house on Tuesday and into our new home on Wednesday. Before the move he came and looked at our furnishing and everything we wanted moved. Gave us an estimate for the move. We agreed to the estimate. The day of the move they showed up with 2 large trailers and 3 people and they worked for 2 hours then they left for breakfast, they came back and worked for 3 hours and left for dinner. when they came back they said they did not have enough room to take everything. I advised them to call brad and get another trailer. The response was that they would be back in the morning. I called Brad and explained that I had to be out by 9:30 in the morning or it would cost me a penalty of 5000.00 and his response was I must have added things after he looked at our belongings. After a lot of back and forth it was agreed that they would bring a trailer back that evening. They got back with the trailer at 1am. Thankfully we had friends with a couple small trailers to take some of our belongings because at 3:15 the movers left with a poorly packed trailer that could have held at least a third more if it had been packed better and not thrown in. Per our agreement, they were to move us into the new home on Wednesday... they delivered 1 trailer and left. they came Thursday with the other 2 trailers. When everything was finally unloaded we had several items damaged, from being dropped and being careless loading and unloading. They up charged me for the 3rd trailer because according to them I added belongings after he left. they charged another 2000.00 dollars. Which I believe is a scam on their part to make more money and be the low bidder. They only gave me credit on a couple broken items and said they would fix the others... and blamed things on friends that helped them load. NOT recommend them to do your move. Still finding broken things unpacking

I would advise anyone considering using this company to think twice. I called them for a free quote as to how much it would cost to move some furniture from one house to another about 20 miles apart. The man I talked with said it would take about 2 1/2 to 3 hours and that they charged ****** an hour. They were at my house at 9:30 a.m. and were leaving the second site at 11:00 a.m.. It took them a total of 1 1/2 hours to complete the move. When they presented us with the ****, it was for four hours work. When questioned, they said they have a four hour minimum. We were not told anything about that. If we had been, we would not have used them for such a short move. We were also told after the work had been done that they charge for the time it takes them to get there and the time it takes to get back. If we add 1/2 hour for them to get there and 1/2 hour for them to get back, it still only comes to 2 1/2 hours. To me, this is very unethical behavior.

I was quoted a price of $175.00 per hour for loading and moving furniture plus $75.00 for transportation. I was charged $1,195.70 for 3 hours of work. Also several pieces of furniture were damaged. A certified letter was send that was not accepted nor has **** Kinney responded to the 3 letters that were sent to him by the ***********************************.
