I am completely satisfied with the masonry work done for me today by Mr. R******* and his crew. They were prompt, thorough, and very responsive. They left behind a work space that was, if anything, cleaner and more tidy than when they arrived. High marks to them for their very professional service.

We were days away from filing a claim in Conciliation, before the subcontracter Zivan hired, Paul Johnson/Decorative Concepts, LLC, Rush City, MN, finally came to finish the patio. We hired Zivan 5/2020 to replace our chimney cap and to take out a patio and re-pour a larger one. Zivan hired Paul to do the patio. We were unaware that he was subcontracting. Paul was rude, dismissive, and kept saying he's been doing this for 20 yrs and to trust him--annoyed if we questioned anything. After the old patio was removed, a hole under our original patio into the basement of our house was found. Instead of taking his time to come up with a plan, Paul rigged up 2x4s and plywood and poured over that. NO foundation was laid--no sand, gravel, etc., to make an even foundation. He poured concrete right on the grass and uneven ground. Not even a week later our concrete cracked all the way across and through the slab. Paul and Zivan said concrete cracks, and that was normal. This was not a few spiderweb cracks, this was a complete fissure through the entire slab not even one week later. Paul eventually agreed to tear it out and do it right. Over 1 year later and threat of lawsuit, he came to redo the patio. Since it had been that long, I reminded Paul of the size, color, pattern, etc., and he said he knew, but, he, once again, screwed up. He didn't order enough concrete and was 1-1/2 ft short on the patio. Argued with him again, said we weren't asking for anything extra, just what was in our contract and that it was his company's reputation on the line, and he lost it and yelled at me. I think he thought he was safe from a negative review because he doesn't have his company's name out there to review (red flag). He came back a month later after another threat of Court and poured the rest of the patio, but it looks terrible, and I'm sure we'll have problems with it. As far as Zivan, he charged us for a chimney cap replacement but only patched it. We never received a refund for that.

Hello this is all fake. If this was true why didnt you go to court instead of trying to ruin my reputation. If you dont take this down I will take you to court for defamation of charter and false reports. We finished your project back in 2020 and we did extra work for your house. This is such false news

I have committed no slander nor libel. My statement is accurate and can be backed up by the contract, emails, texts and photographs.

I highly recommend A to Z Construction & Masonry. We needed a damaged portion of our chimney repaired and rebuilt. ***** provided an estimate right away and promptly completed the project with excellent work. The craftsmanship and communication were superior. The price was competitive. Great company!

We hired Zivan and team on a recommendation from a neighbor. We needed areas of our home tuck pointed where the mortar had failed. Zivan is responsive with his communication in terms of the project timeline and status. The quality of their work on our home is superb and we would hire them again, if needed.
