I purchased three tickets on October 14, 2021 for my dad, and two others for the ***************************** meet and greet scheduled for November 13, 2021. Before I bought the tickets, I asked many questions about handicap accessibility during the event. I explained that my dad uses a ******, and would need easy access, and that I would be purchasing two extra tickets for the help that would be assisting him. I spent $577.40 on three tickets, and a football souvenir for signing. During the conversation I mentioned that my dad has stage 4 cancer, and that he was so excited about this meet and greet. With less than a week for the event to occur I was informed from a family member that ****** was probably going to cancel due to signing on with the Tennessee Titans.I went into the store location and asked for details from a young female employee. She informed me that the event was not canceled, but postponed with no known date scheduled. She said that it would not be scheduled until after the football season has ended. I asked for a refund due to the fact that I dont know what my dads health will be like to even attend the event several months from now, and that they should inform customers of major changes. I dont believe that an athlete should postpone an event just because he was able to get a better opportunity. He should cancel! Now we are well into December and my dads health has deteriorated from a ******, to a wheelchair, and now bedridden on hospice. The one person who I purchased the ticket for can no longer attend, so I want a full refund. I will return tickets, and the football. They need to figure out a better system for how to inform customers of changes. I tried to upload receipts, and photo not sure if it worked. If needed I have them available.
