on or about June 4 I had Erickson asphalt and concrete. Pour a sidewalk and stoop. There was a driveway to follow. On June 6 I sent pictures of my sidewalk and stoop because it was discolored. I was asked to wait two weeks for it to cure and they would get back to me. Two weeks past and the sidewalk still looks horrible. I ask them to come out. and look at the problem. I sent them pictures and made requests on 26 June the 29th and 30 June to have them come out. but I never heard back. Then I was told he would come out on a Friday. nobody show up then finally he came out on the following Monday which was July 3. He said he would be out later in the week to try to resolve the problem. He never showed up. Now its Saturday July 8 and I am being told once again that he will come out on Tuesday, July 11 and resolve the problem by replacing the sidewalk but not the stoop stoop looks awful but he said it would be too much work to replace and the cost to him would be too high. I dont see how that is my problem. Ive been trying to get a hold of *** erickson who gave me the original estimate. He has never got back to me. The total cost was to be $9000. The minimum cost for the sidewalk is $3000 and my sidewalk is not that big so I did pay a premium price which is fine as long as its done correctly.. thus far I have paid $6461. Of the $9000 job they tore out my driveway. Its all I have been without a driveway for over a month which makes getting in and out of my garage a challenge. I feel helpless because I have paid over 2/3 of the cost of the complete job and I havent even got a good sidewalk to show for it and I feel as if I get forceful with them maybe they will just continue to ignore me. I could really use some support from the BBB.Business response

We understand how important it is for our customers to have their projects completed on time, and we regret any inconvenience this may have caused. We encountered unforeseen challenges during the construction process that led to the delay, but please know that we are continually working to improve our processes and ensure more efficient project completion in the future.
Regarding the discoloration of the concrete, concrete projects can be affected by various factors, and we sincerely apologize for any lapses in the quality of our work. The concrete has since been completely replaced at no cost to the customer.Effective communication is vital in ensuring a positive customer experience. We have taken the feedback to heart and will strive to be more proactive and responsive in our communication with customers moving forward.
Customer satisfaction is of the utmost importance to us. The project has since been completed and the customer states complete satisfaction.
