i hired ***************************** on august 21st 2023 and gave him a check for ******** to find eighteen people and to have them eighteen people fill out and sign a affidavit.***************************** didnt find anyone,he told me he made a few phone calls.******** told me that he contacted one of the eighteen people which was a probation officer by the name ***********************************,so i asked ******** to give me the probation officers number so i could talk to him he said he would text it to me which ******** did not.so i finally got in contact with the probation officer myself and asked if ***************************** had contacted him and he said no he never heard of *****************************.******** also told me he got in contact with ************************* which he did not,******** said that he spoke to some young kid at the place and asked the kid if he knew ************************* and the kid said no.but ******** did not speak to ********************************** also told me that he had other investigations he was working on during my investigation.******** called me on september 20th 2023 and said he was done with his investigation and that he couldnt stop by because he had covid and if i wanted him to investigate some more i would have to sign another contract and pay him more money.******** never gave or shown me any proof of his investigation and lied to me about contacting people.******** licence number is PDI **** and his phone number is ************Business response

I would like to respond to the client's rebuttal:
With services like this the desired outcome is not guaranteed, which is why I met with ****************** to review the terms of service in a contract that both he and I agreed upon prior to me starting work on his case. I was clear from the start that the payment is for service, not results, and that though I would do, and did, my duty and diligence to contact the people on his list, I could not be held responsible if they did not have the response or information he wanted. I am sorry that ****************** was not satisfied with my service, but I did complete the work promised in the contract and have the records to support that, which was communicated and provided to the client during and at the end of serviceCustomer response
