After paying for repair work on my son's Kawasaki 110 at Cycle City, last spring, it was returned to ** in much worse condition than it went in (including no oil in it), with a long list of problems and missing parts. I brought it to a different dealership that took care of all but one of the problems, costing me $1,000 more.Returning to Cycle City, I was informed that there had been some issues with a technician, and in the interest of moving forward we agreed that I would eat $1,000 extra bill if Cycle City would take care of the one remaining problem - piston slap. But no work was done, and after following up multiple times, I was asked by Cycle City to get from the second dealership the list of work they had needed to perform, as Cycle City didn't want to "duplicate" anything. That didn't make sense, as they had agreed to fix the one thing, but I was able to obtain the list from the other dealership and send it to CC. Weeks went by with no word from Cycle City, so I followed up yet again, and they then requested the "bill" from the other dealership. I didn't quite understand the request, as they had agreed to fix the piston slap and already had the unrelated list of work performed, so it seemed like an excuse to delay further, and asked them to clarify what all they were going to need and why. Via text message I received a bizarre response, pretending to be confused about the situation, and "apologizing" for thinking the second dealership had done any work, at all. Obviously, Cycle City had no intention of making good on their work or their promise, and I collected the bike from them.In summary, I brought a motorcycle to Cycle City for repairs which were paid for, but they essentially trashed the bike, which cost me another $1,000 to get fixed at another dealership, and after almost a year still didn't make good on their work and fix the biggest problem they'd caused, as promised. And all on a kid's bike - not an adult's, but one owned by a child.
