We appreciate you sharing your feedback as we are always looking for ways to improve. We take the application process very seriously, and per our application requirements, credit history will be used to determine rental eligibility. This information can easily be found on the Requirements page of our website, and is copy-pasted below:
A credit report will be completed on all applicants to verify credit ratings. Income plus verified credit history will be used to determine rental eligibility and security deposit levels. We actively exclude student loan or medical debt during consideration of the application. Unfavorable accounts include, but are not limited to: collections, charge-off, repossession, and current or recent delinquency.
Upon reviewing your rental application, our team found a considerable amount in collections, and for that reason your application was denied. We do feel we served you to the best of our ability while adhering to our application policies. We wish you the best of luck in finding a home you love.
