Purchased a **** f150 2019 from St. Cloud Subaru with warranty, the motor was bad from the beginning, using abnormal amounts of oil. Performed a fuel consumption test at ************************************ WI, failed the test and was paid for by St.Cloud Subaru, but now I had to replace the motor at my cost $10,000 . Now ******* my salesman said they won't cover the cost even after they agreed to.

************************ bought his 2019 **** F150 with ******* miles on it. He purchased it with a ************** Warranty (attached here). Several weeks later, his check-engine light came on, and the Dealership determined it needed a catalytic converter.Unfortunately, the part needed for repair was on backorder for nearly a year due to supply chain issues, and as such the repair was not completed until June 28th, 2023. There were no additional repairs needed at the time, and nothing was promised to him outside of the catalytic converter repair. At no point did St. Cloud Subaru promise to replace the engine of his vehicle. In addition, the vehicles CarFax report indicates a neglect of service during Mr. *********** ownership of the vehicle.

From our perspective, we completed the repair the vehicle needed as soon as we had the part available to do so, as well as refunding ************************ for a fuel consumption test.

I bought this vehicle on the 17th of July, 2023. Within 24 hours of purchase they had to bring me a new battery. It was corroded and green. ******** that brought me the battery and installed it, said the terminal was so corroded, if he would have known, he would have brought a new one to replace it. So he cleaned it up best he could with the supplies on hand. There was no date on the battery for when it was replaced, and other mechanics have said there is no way that was a "new" battery. So I asked them to do a proper inspection, obviously was not done before I drove away, when I brought it in for rust coating. They found nothing, couple weeks later, heat wasn't working right, and I asked to have the alternator checked also. Both were fine, but came up with other items that "would be a good idea to have done". Tire rotation, alignment, spark plugs, front and rear differential flush, brake line flush. About 1,500$. I have had the vehicle for 6 months, and have been in 5 different loaners. There is something that draws on my battery and kills it. First they said it was starlink, and deactivated it. Battery died again, bring it back to dealership, now they say it's the aftermarket auto start. They tell me it would be 300$ to remove it, and would recommend leaving the car without, unless I get a factory one. Told them to leave it in the car, and I'm getting a second opinion. Took it to a local mechanic who specializes in auto starts. That was not what is causing my battery draw, and could not figure out what was, would have charged 30$ to remove it. He believes it's the car itself killing the battery, the year is notorious for this specific problem. I had a light on the dashboard saying SRH disabled, they said it was a module that needed to be replaced, 600$. Told them leave it alone, month or 2 later, it started working on its own. First time talking to sales person, he thought I was a telemarketer, "do me a favor, and go f*** yourself." Direct quote.

      Extended warranty was purchased.

The vehicle was brought in for service 5 times from 8/1/23 at ****** miles through 1/22/24 at ****** miles. Each time except for the last visit the battery and charging system tested good.  The last visit on 1/2/22/24 the battery was replaced.  The only problem found on the vehicle was an aftermarket auto start causing a power draw, and its recommended removal was denied by the customer.  Based on our ********************** Certified Technicians findings we feel there are a couple factors that *** be causing the battery to go dead as ********************** states.  The non-Subaru auto start has been tested and verified to be causing excessive draw to the battery and is contributing to it going dead.  Each time it is recommended to be removed the customer declines.
Another likely reason for the battery going dead is the amount of miles the vehicle has been driven. From the original service on 8/1/23 the vehicle had ****** miles to the last service on January 22,2024 the vehicle had ****** miles.  This is ***** miles in just under 6 months or approx. 350 miles/month.  **** the draw from the auto starter and the power requirements of the vehicle and its computers the vehicle *** not be driven enough for the vehicle to maintain the vehicles state of charge.
Being that the battery has been replaced we would be willing to remove the aftermarket auto starter at no cost.  This will eliminate the parasitic draw that is above the vehicles specification.  We would also be willing to install a trickle charger at no cost to the customer.  This would allow the vehicle to be plugged in and charged when it is not being driven.  Would also help in the event of multiple short trips that do not allow the vehicle to have time to sufficiently charge.  Based on the recommendations and findings from our Subaru *************** technicians we believe the proposed actions will eliminate future battery concerns.

August/September of 2021 my father purchased a used ***** truck from St Cloud Subaru. He also traded in his old Subaru Outback. My dads salesmen(Ahsad) sold my dad a used truck without a title. St Cloud Subaru purchased this truck without a title and then turned around and sold it to my dad knowing there was no title. For 8 months St Cloud Subaru has been giving my parents the run around about the title. 8 months later and still no title. My mother contacted the state of MN and the title was never signed over to Subaru. The original owner still has pocession of the title. Subaru kept making promises they would get the title and they never did - my father worked with Ahsad for roughly 10 years purchasing other vehicles from him so Ahsad had my dads trust that he would get my dad the title. Again, 8 months later and still no title. March 13 2022, my dad unexpectedly dies. Now my mother is stuck with a truck with no title that is in my dead dads name. My mom contacted Subaru St Cloud and told them my dad died and she wants to get rid of the truck but she doesnt have a title. ***** from Subaru called my mom and said How about we just buy the truck back for what your husband paid? My mom agreed. Today we went to Subaru to sell the truck back for the $37,000 + the $4500 trade in. Subaru tried to cut my mom a check for $28,000. We walked out and said our attorney will be handling this from here on out. The company knowingly and willingly sold an illegal vehicle, never was able to produce a title, and now wants to s**** my parents out of $13,000+? This company is crooked and needs to be held accountable. Please contact me for more information if needed.

The General Manager has been in contact with Ms.************ attorney, and they are working to reach a resolution that is suitable to both parties. The Dealership has offered to purchase the vehicle back, for the same price ************************** bought it for. We are hopeful that this solution resolves the issue. If you have any questions, please contact ***************************, the General Manager, at ************.
