On 02/02/2023 we took our 2018 Hyundai sonata in for the car not starting they did a diagnostic test and said that the starter needed to be replaced along with a few other things. I stated that I thought it was an electrical issue. On 02/10/2023 we pickup our car after the said repairs was completed only to get stuck on the highway ************************************************************************ a dangerous situation I called and left a message for *** the services manger about the car stopping on us. he sent a few workers to pick the car up and told me that they would figure out the problem and also stated that his worker drove my car back to the dealership without any issues I find that hard to believe when the state police had to block traffic in order for me to get off the interstate. only to get a call on 02/14/2023 stating that the problem was in fact the electric issue junction box. I believe that my car was sabotaged by the dealership service department because if in fact a diagnostic test was done on 02/02/2023 or 02/06/2023 it should have pick up this issues and not placed me and my family in a dangerous situation on the interstate highway 394 East bound.

******** arrived 2nd of February with no appointment, she spoke with Advisor, she let him know that the vehicle would not start at times, then let her know at that time we would not be able to look at it right away she was offered a loaner vehicle at that time, and informed her that there would be a $125.00 diagnostic fee, at which time guest became combative, ***************** Manager became involved at this time. ******** stated she has never needed an appointment before and never charged anything and began cursing, we could do a brake inspection same day but would not be able to complete the needed recall. We did perform the brake inspection at this time. General Manager was involved to calm her.1.) vehicle has a hard time starting, happened for a couple of weeks it will act as if it wont start at first and wait a few minutes and then it would start, as of recently it will not start at all and all the dash lights come on happens more in the colder weather. 2.)recall 208 trunk latch base replacement(21-01-063H). 3.)hearing a rattle noise front right wheel area when the road is not smooth. We had the vehicle dispatched to one of my Senior Master Technicians to diagnose the issues. For concern one he was only able to get the vehicle to act up once at which time he was able to determine that the starter was intermittently failing. Got parts covered and let her know about the recommended maintenance items that we had for the vehicle(she declined all additional work).  The technician continued diagnosing the vehicle and determined that the right front strut and strut bearing were making noise. We ordered the needed parts and they arrived late on 2/9, on 2/10 the technician installed the needed strut and strut bearing, realigned the vehicle and test drove no issues were noted on the final test drive.******************* retrieved the vehicle from the dealership on 2/11. Customer was informed the failed part is not covered under her warranty.

I am rejecting this response because: upon arriving at Morries 394 Hyundai, we were treated very bad and spoken to rude by the women in the service department but that was not my main issue. My concern is that after having my car worked on by ******'s having a starter replaced on a 2018 and then having the smart junction box go out on us the very next day after picking up our car and having our lives places in a dangerous situation and could have loss our lives. Due to Morries not doing a complete diagnostic test and they claim that my car drove without any issues back to their shop which further make me believe that my car was sabotaged by Morries.

Dropped the vehicle off on the 6th we provided with a loaner vehicle, the concerns that they had on the vehicle at that time were; 1.) vehicle has a hard time starting, happened for a couple of weeks it will act as if it wont start at first and wait a few minutes and then it would start, as of recently it will not start at all and all the dash lights come on happens more in the colder weather. 2.)recall 208 trunk latch base replacement(21-01-063H). 3.)hearing a rattle noise front right wheel area when the road is not smooth.
I had the vehicle dispatched to one of my Senior Master Technicians to diagnose the issues. For concern one he was only able to get the vehicle to act up once at which time he was able to determine that the starter was intermittently failing, he test drove the vehicle then to diagnose the issue with the rattle noise where he found that the front sway bar links were worn and that the left front lower ball joint was also worn. I called the issues into the customers extended warranty all issues were covered. I then called to let ******************* know what we had found and gotten covered and let her know about the recommended maintenance items that we had for the vehicle(she declined all additional work). All parts were on site 2/7 technician installed the new starter, sway bar links, and ball joint(which actually is a complete lower control arm), cleared the codes and test drove the vehicle, at this time there was still a faint rattle noise but no trouble lights reappeared on the dash. The technician continued diagnosing the vehicle and determined that the right front strut and strut bearing were making noise, called into the warranty company and the strut was covered but the bearing was not, no charge on bearing repair, We ordered the needed parts and they arrived late on 2/9, on 2/10 the technician installed the needed strut and strut bearing, realigned the vehicle and test drove no issues were noted on the final test drive.

We received a thank you from this dealership in ** thanking ** for letting them work on our Hyundai Sonata.I contacted the dealership trying to find out how they got our information when we do not own a Hyundai and live in PA. I am concerned about Identity Theft. I have called them 5 times trying to get an answer. They transfer me to voicemails, and I never get a reply call. Now we have received a letter telling us we have free SiriusXM with the purchase of our Hyundai. Again, called the dealership and was given voicemail. I need to find out how they have our name and address in PA.

Morries was to provide me with a protection package for my vehicle which was not 100% provided and in doing so there was flaws and damage to the exterior of my vehicle that I had a professional fix. as well validate with proof from professionals in emails/in person and my photos that the package was never actually installed which I had paid for. I returned to morries with no trust or comfort in them restarting the process since it took professionals to fix their previous mistake and it was difficult getting in contact with them alone due to getting sent to voicemails and told by the voicemail they were closed with no returned calls / contact being made to me. After returning in person I was berated by *********************** (sales manager) threatened, shouted at, criticized, and so on not only to me but also to my mother who is also owner of the vehicle. After 2 in person occasions of arguing we settled on them paying $410 for the professional detailing and fixing, but also refunding me fully $380 for the exterior protection package that was never installed on my vehicle. Which, on this same occasion of settling and *********************** signing the papers for the money to be sent to me, he only wanted to refund $299 for the package and threatened to give nothing when i pressured for the full $380 After the most recent and final in person incident I was sent a survey which I filled out honestly and went into details of my experience. Shortly after I received another phone call and was threatened to not receive any of the money if I didnt take back my review. Despite their agreement and signing to send me the funds.
