7/25/2022: Dropped off two awnings (frames, pulleys and attachments with fabric) to be recovered with canvas with ******************* at Royal Shade and Awning **. Gave a deposit of $378.00. ******************* advised they would be completed in a month.Fall 2022: Stopped by and spoke to *******************. She advised the awnings were not completed but she will get to them; she is very busy right now. She advised to call back in January 2023.2/9/2023: Called Royal Shade and Awning ** at ************, and left a message to call back on status of awnings. ********************* called back and advised that his wife, ***, died in December 2022. He advised that they are trying to figure out everything in the business and would call back. He did not call back.3/8/2023: Called Royal Shade and Awning **., at ************. Received ******* message that the call could not be completed as dialed.3/8/2023: Went to email ******************************************************************************* Sent an email asking to meet to pick up awnings and deposit. After sending email, went to the store. There was a handwritten sign taped to door saying, "Sorry we are temporarily closed. If you have any repairs or jobs pending, please call ************. Leave a message". But this number is no longer in service.3/13/2023: Received email reply from *****. She explained that her sister ******************* passed away on 12/23/2022. ***** only set up the website. She lives out of state and is not involved in the day-to-day business but would pass along the emails to the family. ***** said, "Her family is trying to work through the personal and legal struggles that resulted from this, and I will pass on your email".No one from the family replied to the email.Called 3/13/23 and 4/3/23 but calls did not go through.Sent other emails on 3/13/23, 4/3/23, 4/10/23 and still did not receive a reply.4/17/2023: Sent email advising that I would be filing a complaint with BBB if not heard back by 4/24/23.I am requesting to have my two awnings and deposit of $378.00 returned.Thanks.
